    1 and 2 were good but Spider-man 3 was one of the most over-hyped movies I have ever seen. When does evil spider-man mean emo spider-man. Spider-man is ruined for me.

    Just like Pirates, they should have stopped while they were ahead. I have no faith that they just wont make things worse.

    Agreed. Pirates should have stopped at 1, Spider Man at 2.

    it'll be alright as long as they don't bomb with the next movie. seems that audiences dont tend to go to sequels if one of them is bad.

    Somebody put Spider-man out of his misery. Imagine the record sales if they made a movie that killed off Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in one fell swoop! Academy Award winning, guaranteed.

    That's what happens when you deviate from formula. Pirates went all dark and convoluted as did Spiderman.
