The last couple of years with the Dolphins were plagued by injuries and an obvious fall-off in play due to age. We should have traded him after the 10 INT season since there was no way he was going to play up to the contract that he was asking for. We could have gotten some great draft picks for Grier to squander.

Oh wow, that's lower than low. I don't know how some people in this world become so entitled to think that they can treat someone like they're not human. I'm instantly no longer a fan of the guy and could care less what he did on the field.
I think any team who would have been interested passed on him last year because of this and that's why he's still looking for a home. It's one thing if you're a star in your prime and it's another if you're best years are behind you. Howard isn't worth the drama being in the tail end of his career. He's trash.
