Joe Flacco is impressing me tonight. dude can get it out of their quick. I love his release. Ravens score to tie it. Good football game.
Flacco will impress a lot of people. I never went to a UD football game (even though they're close by.. everything is close by in DE) but once I saw him on the draft board I went back and looked at a few clips. Good game. I'll be following flacco throughout his career.
Flacco was my favorite QB in the draft class and I thought he would be the best QB from the draft class when its all set and done. I'm hoping I'm wrong because I want it to be Henne lol. Screw Matt Ryan.
Ryan hasnt been bad either though. This was thought to be a particularly weak QB class, but may end up being pretty solid lol, who knew.
not a lot of pressure for flacco, huh? has the chance to produce the winning drive on MNF for the first time in his career.. a come from behind win.
I know but I'm not a fan of Ryan haha. Flacco or Henne.......I hope its the bold. What a confidence booster that would be.
I think its stupid personally. I bet Shannahan felt like an *** after the kicker missed it the one time but got another shot because of the TO and nailed it. Edit-Watching SC after the game now and the stadium speakers are BLARING Joy to the World, can just barely hear Emmit Stu and Steve lol, that was painful!
Yeah, that's the big problem I have with it. If he misses it the first time and then makes it the second time, you cost your team the game. Just let him kick it and see what happens lol.
Mendenhall apparently has a fractured shoulder, going on IR. Kendall Simmons (RG) also likely to go on IR, didnt catch why.
Yeah. I'm guessing they'll be bringing Davenport back to split carries with Mewedle Moore. One guy to keep an eye on though is Gary Russell. They like him a whole lot and think he can be a quality, NFL back. He's 5'11, 215.
Sucks to hear about Mendenhall and I think he may become a bust. Just a feeling I have and said he should stayed in school another year after he declared.
IMO, it all depends on Mendenhall's work ethic. At Illinois, when he didn't start, he didn't care. When he won the starting job by default, he was happy and worked his tail off. He's not the starting RB in Pittsburgh and if his work ethic goes down the tubes, so will his career. Earlier this off-season, he had an hamstring strain and Tomlin called him out, saying that it was BS that it took so long to heal.
He's out against Jacksonville according to Tomlin. Mewelde Moore is starting and there are rumors they're in negotiations with Shaun Alexander (if you can't beat em, join em?).
Does anyone else think that Tomlin should take Omar Epps place in an episode of House, while Epps coaches a Steelers game ... and see if anyone notices? That would be awesome! At the least Mike should have a guest appearance on the show, and Epps should have honorary season tix
