Can you imagine throwing the ball 20+ times with broken ribs or getting hit?

Oh don’t misunderstand…I’m sure White was in agony during that game, but even without broken ribs, he still sucks.

I guess we won't have to worry about cold games in Buffalo anymore:

The Buffalo Bills' new stadium in Orchard Park, NY is about half constructed, with an expected opening in time for the 2026 NFL season.

The new stadium is being built adjacent to the existing Highmark Stadium (which was originally named Rich Stadium, then renamed Ralph Wilson Stadium) which the Bills have called home since 1973.

    No Dome
There was initial consideration to building the new stadium in downtown Buffalo, and with a dome or retractable roof, but both ideas were set aside after extensive cost evaluations would had made such a location and roof unfeasible for the local Buffalo community.

    Current Stadium Build Cost
The price of New Highmark Stadium has grown to over $2.1 billion perJohn Wawrow of The Associated Press. This is an over half a billion dollar more than the originally approved price tag, with team owners Terry and Kim Pegula responsible for funding the additional $560 million.

IS THE BILLS CANOPY ROOF READY FOR BUFFALO WINTERS?

One of the reasons cited for avoiding a dome on the new structure, was the ability to manage Buffalo's massive annual snowfall, averaging 92 inches a year due to the traditional lake effect snow belts with cold winds from the west moving across the relatively warm Great Lakes.

Instead, Populous designed the new structure with a 360-degree canopy roof that covers over 60% of the stadium seating to limit the impact of wind and other weather on fans in their seats. As Populous states: "A unifying element, the canopy follows the form of the bowl and exterior facade, dipping down towards the end-zones and rising towards the center."

But how will the canopy hold up to Buffalo winters and lake effect snowfall?

The canopy roof was designed with an innovative snow melt system that will keep the roof from collapsing under the snow's weight. Joe Byrne, stadium construction operations manager, describes it as "the worlds largest snow melt system." The sensors in the roof monitor the weather and the V-shaped canopy structure allows the heated canopies to safely melt away any dangerous snow levels.

Frank Cravotta, Senior Vice President of Design at the Buffalo Bills and the team's stadium design lead, confidently declared that even if the snowfall is "a seven footer...yes, it absolutely will melt it."

And the Patriots win today cost them the first overall pick in the draft! They can’t even finish a dismal season properly.

To be fair, it seemed like no one wanted the top pick this year. Congrats, I guess, to the Titans.

The Jets, Browns and Jaguars will give up home games to play in London in 2025, the NFL announced today.

Jacksonville will play in the UK for the 14th time this year, returning to Wembley Stadium as usual. The Jets and Browns will play at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where the NFL has a long-term deal to play regular-season games each year.

The three teams’ opponents and the dates and times of the game have not yet been announced.

The NFL is planning five games in Europe in 2025, with Madrid and Berlin also set to serve as NFL host cities this year. All international games in 2025 are expected to have AFC “home” teams, as AFC teams get nine home games in odd-numbered years and NFC teams get nine home games in even-numbered years.

League owners have voted to play up to eight games a year outside the United States. Through the 2024 season, the NFL has played 55 regular-season games outside the United States.

As I heard it on DouglieDoWrong’s YouTube channel, the Dolphins are giving up a home game to play in Spain.

Fans, however, are not too pleased with Miller’s statement or his performance against the Chiefs. He finished the game with zero tackles and zero sacks. Miller also didn’t have a quarterback hit.

“Nothing to contribute. Miller needs to hang it up & focus on his farm. ,” said a fan.
“Bro was watching the game with us,” another commenter shared.

A different comment read: “He was a ghost… another example of a washed-up player that needs to be cut…no help today.”

“He played in the game? All I saw was number 40 jogging then watching the play,” posted another X user.

“Oof. This has turned out to be one of worst free agent signings of recent memory. 6 year, 120 mil deal and only nothing to show for it,” said a fan.

Miller, who inked a six-year deal worth $120 million contract with Buffalo in 2022, used to be one of the most devastating defensive players in the NFL. After all, he is an eight-time Pro Bowler and a member of the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team. But his showing in the AFC title game leaves questions about whether it’s time for Buffalo to move on from him.

    Love it!! Hahaha

There’s also talk from fans saying that “Allen” needs a deep threat WR. However, when he had that all he did was throw INT’s and STILL lose in the playoffs.

The biggest reason the Bills lost yesterday was they chased points too early. I said as much in the Club. It was too soon to be chasing points. If they had kicked the extra point the game would have been 21-17 instead of 21-16 after they failed on the 2-pt try. Then they went for 2 again, and failed. I think if they kick those two extra points, KC doesn’t go for 2 (and make it) on their one TD and then the game is tied when Buffalo couldn’t do anything with 2 minutes left and down by 3 points.

Which brings me to another thing… The Bills moved the ball about 15 total yards on a drive that saw them with nearly 2 minutes on the clock and only needing a FG to tie and get to OT. Instead they turn it over on downs. Lmaooo.. What a bunch of CHOKERS!!
The second reason they lost was old Allen showed up on their first drive. He almost threw 2 INT’s! He threw 2 balls right to the defender. You’d think after 13 playoff games he wouldn’t play like it was his first and be able to not be nervous. No clutch… lmaooo

After the news was reported late last week, the Jets have formalized it with an announcement:

They are moving on from Aaron Rodgers.

The team’s new head coach Aaron Glenn and new General Manager Darren Mougey released a joint statement saying that the club met with Rodgers last week and informed him that he will not be back in 2025.

“Last week we met with Aaron and shared that our intention was to move in a different direction at quarterback,” Glenn and Mougey’s statement reads. “It was important to have this discussion now to provide clarity and enable each of us the proper time to plan for our respective futures. We want to thank him for the leadership, passion, and dedication he brought to the organization and wish him success moving forward.”

Team owner Woody Johnson also had a statement in the team’s announcement.

“I personally want to thank Aaron for his time at the New York Jets,” Johnson said. “His arrival in 2023 was met with unbridled excitement and I will forever be grateful that he chose to join us to continue his Hall of Fame career. From day one, he embodied all that it meant to be a New York Jet, embraced our fans, and immersed himself in our city. That is what I will remember most when I look back at his time here. He will always be welcome, and I wish him only the best in whatever he chooses to do next.”

Rodgers played just four offensive snaps for the Jets in 2023, suffering a torn Achilles in the Week 1 matchup against the Bills on Monday Night Football. He returned in 2024, playing all 17 games for the club. But the season ended with a disappointing 5-12 record.

Rodgers, who turned 41 in December, completed 63 percent of his passes for 3,897 yards with 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions in 2024.

The Jets are likely to release Rodgers with a post-June 1 designation, spreading out the cap hit.

Pittsburgh is the early betting favorite to land Rodgers, with Las Vegas, San Francisco, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Indianapolis the next teams up. The Rams and Giants are also in the mix from a betting odds perspective.

Signing Rodgers will no doubt go down in Jets history as one of the DUMBEST moves they ever made.

I really can’t see the Steelers signing Rodgers; he seems to be the exact opposite of a “Tomlin guy”. If had (a lot) less ego and could adopt a mentor mentality, I could see Indy or Tennessee (if they decide to draft a qb) as landing spots for him. Maybe the Rams would take a chance, assuming Stafford retires and McVay suffers an offseason concussion.

I don’t see anyone wasting their time on him, but I wouldn’t be shocked if a team did.

Tomlin has to be running out of time. Yes, they make the playoffs every year but Steelers fans are getting impatient. They've been getting blown out every year.

He has to make a run at it.

Looks like Devante is gone next year if he doesn't agree to resign.

But is Rodgers the guy Tomlin wants to hitch his wagon to for that run? He’s got less left than Wilson, imo.

    Bills cut Von Miller
    -
The Bills are releasing veteran pass rusher Von Miller.

The move, which will be made official this week, comes as no surprise: Miller would have had a $23.814 million salary cap hit if he had stayed on the Bills under his current contract, and that wasn’t feasible.

That doesn’t necessarily mean Miller is done in Buffalo: It’s possible that he and the Bills could agree to a return at a lower salary. But by cutting him, the Bills avoid that massive cap hit and give Miller the opportunity to find out his value on the open market.

Miller, who will turn 36 this month, is one of the best pass rushers of his era, a Super Bowl MVP and a three-time first-team All-Pro. He’s not playing at that level anymore, but he’ll draw interest from NFL teams who think he can still contribute, and can be a valuable veteran presence.
