Glad we finally admitted what a STOOPID idea that was. Waste of a roster spot and the development of a player like Washington or Sanders or even give EZ a little more time. But hey. 300k per reception is good work if you can get it
I’d have to dig and look but if those 9 receptions he had, did any of the result in a touchdown? Any of them result in a crucial 1st down to keep a drive going? I don’t know. I do know if 2 specific passes thrown to him…one resulting in one of Tua’s 4 interceptions on the year against Buffalo and another more recent one that he dropped that would have resulted in a 1st down and keep the offensive drive going.
They have been a little more willing to move on from players that aren’t contributing to winning football than they have been in the past, although there is definitely still room for improvement (why J. Hill is still on the roster is incomprehensible, for one).
