Good thing there's a search function. Problem is, it won't show posts that were deleted and of course anything a mod alters erases evidence of what was said unless quoted prior to the edit by someone else. There are so many times I know something was said but you can't find it anymore because it was deleted or mod-edited.

I agree but I am thinking he is showing something and should only get better down the road meaning career wise as long as he stays healthy.

JJ claims that hitman wasn't calling Chop a bust in the first post I quoted. However, immediately after hitman wrote that, JJ claimed that calling Chop a bust so soon was a mistake. He KNEW (at the time) that hitman was calling Chop a bust, but now (and because it was me posting it) he's claiming that hitman didn't call Chop a bust in that post. lmao....It's insane man.

And here's hitman calling Chop a bust, again...

Didn’t know I was in front of a jury, lol! I remembered that he wasn’t fond of the pick and I already stated above that I was wrong. Some people on here, lol, go on with your crusade against the so called trolls. One mistake and the harpies come out. :ban:

Don't obfuscate and try to mix up two different things. You claimed that what hitman posted wasn't him calling Chop a bust. Even though you disagreed with him calling Chop a bust in that exact post of his.

Here’s the thing. When the team is winning, this player or that player is the greatest thing since sliced bread.

When the team is losing, this player and that player is a complete bust.

Both stances are made purely emotional.

That's not what's irritating and leads to huge arguments. It's the negative view in spite of great performances. Tua is on track to put up a 3rd consecutive statistically elite season and there's still talk about us tearing the team down and starting over. That's just ridiculous.

You, back then thought he was calling him a bust. (Because he was). And now you’re claiming that that’s not what he wrote.

The claim was that when a player plays well people here say they play well. That’s clearly not the truth. If someone states something, and it’s objectively wrong, it should be corrected.
I have no power to “let” someone voice their opinions. I can, however, voice mine and give reasons as to why they are my opinion or give reasons as to why I feel some opinions are wrong.

I get it but people really don't want to read the back and forths over these minor issue. IMO. It just leads to name calling and worse.

Well, back and forth are what debates are about. You give your opinion. I can rebut and give my opinion. Are you saying that everyone should just give opinions and no one should reply to them?

Also, and in this example, it’s pretty clear that JJ is just disagreeing with what I posted because I posted it. When it was originally posted by Hitman, JJ agreed that Hitman was calling Chop a bust and yet when I posted it today he’s claiming that Hitman wasn’t calling Chop a bust. That’s called being disingenuous and creating turmoil and what you don’t want. I called him out on it. And rightfully so.

That’s why I said it in that manner…emotional responses. Take for instance, and this goes back to our debates about Tannehill.

The Dolphins were winning when Tannehill was here. I took the stance that Tannehill was a good quarterback (which I still believe, but that’s another discussion). Your stance as I recall was Tannehill was average at best sue to his stats. Point being, your assessment was based on stats and not emotion.

Fast forward to today, stats show Tua is an elite quarterback, or at least playing elite. That’s a fact but as you pointed out, there are still those adamantly opposed to Tua, purely emotional due to the losses the team has had.

I think it's just unwillingness to admit they were wrong about their initial evaluations, not losses the team has had. In fact some actually root for us to lose to get rid of Grier. It's just stubbornness, not game-to-game emotions.

You just posted the above. You claimed that Hitman called Chop a bust awhile back. When I quoted that same post from Hitman you claimed that he didn’t. You’re the one who can’t seem to read.
