Im not sure what your link about the Chargers has to do with Grier. Then again, the majority of your posts make no sense.

Love it when someone else out there agrees with me about the importance of being able to run the ball and the utter importance of the offensive line.

Weren't you just complaining about someone not watching the video you posted about Tua's most recent concussion?

    Weird

His post clearly said that it was a great article about Grier. He linked to an article. It wasn’t about Grier. God forbid I click the link and see what it was. THAT’S the difference between my post and his. My post was actually relevant.

Now can you please get ahold of your emotions for once and stop crying all the time about things that never even happened or getting upset due to you not being smart enough to understand what’s going on?

Good video, he has some valid points! Last season already indicated, that our style of football likely doesn’t result in actual success. It‘s like with the Florida Panthers before they traded for Tkachuk and changed their style, nice to look at but not much more…

Yep.U need to build team from inside out not vice versa. This team is not physical enough especially in the cold. The teams that go deep in playoffs have good lines on both sides of ball.
This years team the line are weaker on both sides.

Here's Big O, who is a big Tuanoner, and Chris Perkins. Just his first comment says a lot about Grier. I've been saying the same thing. Listen to the rest about Tua, etc .

The Florida Panthers went from trying to have the best offense in the league to trying to have the best defense in the league. It was a 180° turn in a very short time period. It's rare that something like that works out in any sport, and it's certainly not the mold for winning in today's NFL. I don't think the Florida Panthers have much to do with the discussion here, for the Dolphins or for any team in the NFL. What they did was rare.

I do hope they repeat though. No Canadian team has won the Stanley Cup since 1993 lol. And the Panthers helped keep that streak alive. Love it!

100% agree on the Panthers hopefully repeating! :) Different sport I agree but their style didn’t work in the playoffs so they tweaked their roster, easier to do in hockey but I do think we have to do something as well, because I don’t think what we’re having right now will work, so it’s similar unless you want to nitpick. Time will tell though.

What I found amazing is they got star offensive players like Tkachuk to play defense first. Not sure I've ever seen that to that degree elsewhere. It worked though.

Well they‘ve got the best two way Center in the NHL and Tkachuk is a different presence then Huberdeau and Bobrovski played big when it counted but now enough with the Panthers. :)

but telling someone the majority of their posts make no sense is productive and helpful? Got it. With all due respect, I'm not sure what's happened around here since last season but the moderation seems a bit off lately. I'm not sure why Res is getting this type of comment, yet the #2 reply in this topic clearly isn't productive or helpful at all and is what actually started the back and forth. :confused2:

It's absolute negligence if Grier still has a job in the morning. How did all those big contracts perform? "We're not worried about the OL".
Nothing will get better until that goof is shown the door. It's time. It is time. Adidos mofo'ers.

Grier is either blind or a fool. Maybe a bit of both. This guy has done the equivalent of buying a Ferrari and putting a used set of tires on it that have the steel belts showing. He says he not worried about the tires as they prevent the sportscar from showing its true potential.

A big part of it is that most of this team is locked in - we are essentially in a 2-3 year window here based on all the contracts that have been given out. So, barring a catastrophic collapse, it could be see that Grier and McDaniel have 2-3 years to win or they are out. It may not make a ton of sense to bring a new GM and possibly coach, into that mix unless you are giving them a longer term starter deal while they rework the roster.

Let the season play out, there is plenty of time for things to evolve up or down.

I‘m sure he’s going to be here. Ross is fine he just sucks selecting quality football people and from what I hear/read he’s viewed as a clown in the business. I don’t think we’re going anywhere with Ross, hope he sells the team.

I don’t believe this for one second. In fact, if you look at his wife’s Twitter posts and the fact that they purchased a house in MN 3 hours after the legal tampering period even started….Then AVG posted on Twitter acting like they didn’t buy a house. Like he got scared. It seems as if there was some illegal tampering going on.

You can always count on Dan to defend Grier's honor.

Fact is if Grier really wanted van ginkel he could have had him, he didn't and let him go. Decided to roll with the injury prone and injured Chubb, injury prone and injured Phillips, retired Barret who we are paying millions to now without having played a single minute for us, and the soon to be bust Chop Robinson, to add to his long list of busts.

Only saving grace was resigning Ogbah who is actually a good player that can be relied on.

Meanwhile Gink is killing it in Minnesota with Flores and the #2 defense in the NFL.

Grier definitely must have some dirt on Ross to still have a job at this point.

Either that or Ross is unbelievably stupid.

I think it was dumb IF the Dolphins didn’t at least try to match the Vikes offer. I just don’t see any evidence that this is what happened. To me it makes more sense that they didn’t value him as high as his worth and didn’t want to go over the price he was offered and he chose MN due to being closer to home. That’s still a mistake, but acting as if they flat out told him “kick rocks”, doesn’t make sense to me.

Van Ginkel is always good for a splash play every now and then. When he became a starter last year he went 8 straight games without a sack and he had 6 total last year.

    So, let's calm down.

And your inability to be reasonable and show even an ounce of common sense is also something we can count on.
All GM’s miss on players, some players take bigger contracts (Wilkins and Hunt) and some players value things other than money. I think Grier is dumb for not backing up the truck for AVG to see if he’d stay, but only someone stupid would think they didn’t make an offer.
