Didn’t think we’d win today, how about that!

Edit: Pats are/were probably the worst team we’re going to face this season.

Hey, we aren't the worst team in the league, neat. That said, this team just looks so rough and bad. McDaniel need to clean up his offense, and if he wants to keep coaching he needs to show a command over practices so that we aren't such a sloppy and mistake prone mess. Danny Crossman should be fired immediately. There was no reason for him to return to start with, and no reason to keep him beyond this week. McDaniel wants to talk about accountability, show it.

Nice, led in a game before the last second, we beat the Pats, and the Bills and Jets both lost. All things considered today was a damn good day.

Anyone else see Josh Allen get knocked unconscious and miss one play?

A win, not a quality win as the Pats are really bad, but with the Jets and Bills losing it makes it sweeter.

Allen hit his head on the ground and wa knocked out cold. He was allowed to come back in. He’s obviously injury prone if he gets knocked out from the ground and needs to retire.

I think the Bills and their independent neurologist should be investigated.

Luckily they still lost.. the protocol is so vague and screwed up. He shouldve been out for game after slamming his head on the ground and being unconscious..

The spotters are picking and choosing who to enforce the rules to..

I think a lot has to do with optics and if it’s happening during a prime time game. Tuas concussions looked ugly just because of his fencing + that he is a „smaller“ guy.

Of course it’s optics. You disagreed with me when I said the same thing. Lmao

The point is, the NFL gives not one **** about player safety. Tua was just unlucky enough to be the poster boy for their “we care about player safety” BS.

As I said before the media and in particular ESPN went after the Dolphins in 2022 as a way to cover for the league.

This will be easy to sweep under the rug

Road win in a divisional game.
1 game out of first place now.

If you didn’t watch any of this game…. On paper couldn’t have went any better. Ha

Didn't see a lot other than late 4th quarter where we took the lead for good. Nice to see the rushing attack working. Mostert makes a big difference for this offense. Good to see Wright do some good things too. Get to 3-3 next

It was the best the offense has ever looked without Tua they just left a lot of points on the field.

Yep. They moved the ball all day against a good Pats defense. Bad snaps, penalties, and a missed relatively easy FG, made the game closer than it should have been.

It's a win. You take them however you can get them. We're 2-3, the way I see it is we are right in this. We have two very winnable games coming up. We could be 4-3 by the time Tua returns. Meanwhile Tyler Huntley has a week off to get a better grip on the offense.

The AFC East is the worst division in football.

It will be interesting to see if there is any backlash against the Bills organization this week. Probably not.

The Jets are a bigger disaster than Miami.

It's absolutely unbelievable Miami is only one game out of first place right now.

The National sports media has been instructed to not say anything about what happened to Allen today. It will be glossed over and we won’t hear another word about it.

I will say one thing… the AFCE may be bad right now, but rarely does the NFL in weeks 11-18 look like what it did in weeks 1-6.

    Cinci: 1-4
    Bills: 3-2
    49ers: 2-3
    Minny: 5-0
    Browns: 1-4
    Ravens: 3-2
Dallas could easily be 2-3 after tonight.

And the list goes on of teams that have been surprised, both good and bad.

Beating the Pats is a good start to any football day. Doing it in Foxboro is the icing on the cake. If we beat the Jets once, and can handle the Pats at home, then when we go to Orchard Park we might just have our playoff hopes in our own hands. Thankfully we're going there the beginning of next month, and not well into December.

I am not getting my hopes up, but it's a lot better outlook than I had last week. The Texans really helped us out a lot today, and we managed not to shoot ourselves in the foot despite squeezing off quite a few rounds at our toes this afternoon.

Of the teams you listed, I think Cleveland is most likely to keep on the same course they are on. Nick Chubb can’t save that sinking ship, imo.

We are 2-3, we gotta face the colts in indianapolis next and then we likely have tua back.. hopefully we are 3-3 when he returns.. achane needs to return healthy as well.. mostert needs to stay healthy and armstead needs to do whatever hes gotta do this bye week to stay strong and ready.. season isnt over yet.. hopefully we can get in rhythm.. and hopefully this coach can start calling better plays

On a serious note, if a boxer gets knocked out they aren't allowed to fight again for 90 days, it's why journeymen are so good at surviving to a points decision.

We just witnessed the equivalent of Allen get knocked out, fight not stopped, him getting dragged to his corner, given smelling salts and then sent out for the next round. He looked like crap this week even before the knockout but he did also smash his head into the ground against the Ravens last week as well.

If the NFL actually gave a damn about head injuries, any player, no matter who that gets knockout out on the field should be immediately removed from the game at a minimum. They also should likely have to sit for at least a week (or 30 days if that concussion article I read was true about it taking 30 days for brain activity to return to normal) but the league would never do that as too many players would miss games.

All true. It’s even possible that he wasn’t concussed. However, the NFL rules state that if a player loses consciousness they can’t finish the game and in order to be cleared they MUST get evaluated in the locker room. Allen was unconscious and he never went to the locker room. They completely ignored the NFL’s rules. And it’s clearly apparent that the NFL treats other teams and players differently than they treat the Dolphins.
If you’ve followed some of my posts about concussions, I’m not as hyperbolic about them as some. Yes, they can be serious, but most are not. Concussions aren’t the cause of CTE nor are they what most people think. It’s hard to diagnose a concussion, but again, the NFL rules mandate that a player who gets knocked unconscious must leave the game and if they are to get cleared they need to get a full assessment in the locker room. Again, none of that happened with Allen.

The Dolphins missed Raheem Mostert. The run game was totally different with him back. Also, Jaylen Wright will be getting the bulk of the carries by November, possibly sooner. He is a special runner.

I thought it was even more strict than that. In 2022 when Tua was out Teddy Bridgewater was removed after one play against the Jets because he hit his head and "showed signs" of a concussion. The only sign was he shook his head as he got up. Skylar Thompson had to finish the game. What happened yesterday was clear as day. Allen was concussed and was allowed to keep playing. He won't miss a single game though let alone four on IR.

Last week against the Ravens he did the same exact rollout, the same exact jump throw and the same exact violent collision with his head and the ground. This happens at least once or twice a game with Allen.

I've been saying it for years it's only a matter of time before he gets knocked out cold. It happened yesterday and is being swept under the rug by the NFL and the Bills.

Luckily the Bills have concussion repairing smelling salts. They should really share.

Seriously though. Allen is another head blow from some potential scary damage now. The risk goes down with rest. We know this, and there is a lot that isn't settled with brain injuries, but we know that. I don't understand why they would risk him. Him out for an extended period would be as bad as Tua has been for the Dolphins. I like Allen. He works the reffs, but that is his job. He is fun to watch. It's stressful rooting against him, which is what I want. Beating him is better. So, why don't the Bills like him?
