Haven't seen one yet so I'll start it. I think the all white's are the absolute best that's ever been.

All whites with the Joe Robbie era logo.

For an alternate uniform, the orange jersey and white pants.

I buy one jersey every year before the season. Just ordered an orange color rush Tua I'll be wearing week 8 at Hard Rock. I really hope they bring it back this year. The Right Arm of God posted a teaser a couple months back of some orange jerseys so hopefully it's happening.

As you guys know, I take uniforms more seriously than most, and the Dolphins uniforms most seriously of all. The current color of "aqua" that we use is horse crap, and far too pastel and light. It needs to be much darker. The facemask on the helmet MUST be aqua, and honestly no team should ever go white on white with that. And the socks need to never, ever be all white, regardless of uniform combination. I favor solid dark aqua when wearing white pants and the throwback socks when wearing aqua pants.

These are what I want the team to look like.

While I too take our uniforms seriously, the Stephen Ross logo and color scheme has to go. Go back to the throw backs, the Joe Robbie era, but I disagree with you about the white on white.

The BRUTAL heat of playing in Miami dictates we wear all white, to alleviate the heat players absorb and endure.

Let those visiting teams wear the dark, heat absorbing jerseys while we stay cool.

I think that you might have misunderstood me. I don't fully oppose white jerseys and helmets, its the white facemasks and socks that I despise.

I do want aqua pants on the road.

I know you and I have had this discussion many times in the past but since its that time of year, hear I go again (white snake reference intended). When we first made the move to the darker aqua color, I loved it but quickly grew tired of it. For my taste its just too green. I personally don't mind the current color, particularly since they darkened it a shade a few years back. I think its pretty close to the original color now.

I agree on the socks. I'm not a fan of the monochrome or color rush look whether its all white or all aqua. In fact, not a fan of it for any team. Personally, I'd go with a contrasting color or bring back the stripes.

I'm indifferent on the color of the face masks. I don't think they really impact the look of the uniform to a large degree. Gun to head, I'd go with grey like the throw backs.

I know I am in the minority with this, but I like the new logo but I was never a fan of the original one. I know its has nostalgic value but it always looked amateurish to me. Even as a kid, I remember thinking I could have drawn it better and I'm not artist.

For an alternate uniform, I'd love to see them do something like the one of the left below. I think it looks pretty cool and Dolphins are suppose to be grey.

When you reference making the move to the darker aqua color, what time period are you talking about? I understand that color photography wasn't necessarily always accurate in the past, and I wasn't there to see t first hand, but the aqua jerseys from the 60s and 70s don't really look all that different from the 80s and early 90s in most of the pictures that I've seen. Especially for night games, when the sun effect isn't there to add glare.

I do agree that the changes made in the Jimmy and Saban eras changed it to a shade I was less happy with, but I'd still take those in a heartbeat over the pile of crap that we have now.

I've worked to convert the guy who runs this Twitter account to my side. He used to call for the throwbacks or the 80s look, but now agrees that the 1994-96 look is the best.

I'm kinda w/ Unlucky here, out of all the color schemes and uniform trim options the 2nd Generation Throw backs are the cleanest. Add then an Orange alternate jersey and that's perfection. But I also don't hate the new logo. Kinda thought the Dolphin with a helmet thing was stupid, and if the Dolphin was going to wear a helmet why the eff did the helmet not have the Dolphins Logo on it. I would love to see the old logo, without the helmet. The new logo at least looks like a Dolphin. Definitely think we could add some grey, Maybe pants, Helmets would be bad ***, even a grey alternate jersey would be kinda sweet. But most of all I want Orange jerseys at least once a year. It's one of our primary colors.

Unlucky brah you better sit down for this part:

If I could pick a perfect Uniform Color combo say for a home night game cuz not giving up the all white advantage for day games ever,it would be a full on Aqua-Man. Aqua bottoms (Socks and Shoes, white shoes ok) Orange tops (Sleeves gloves etc) and a Grey HelmetW/ Orange and Aqua racing stripes.

I know, crazyness but, Chaos and Confusion is my style

We get so little of our real uniform, that I just can't deal with going crazy. This isn't MLB, where you have 162 games and can basically throw a few away with weird days. I also think that the orange jerseys have always looked really bad, and not in the spirit of the team's vibe, and that grey would be awful.

You’re right, I misunderstood. As for the face mask, you bring up a very interesting and overlooked aspect in optics.

While we as fans look at such things as aesthetics, we need to actually look at it through the science of optics.

I worked in a few prisons while I was in the army. One of the smaller facilities in Korea was painting the bars of the cells in one cell block. They painted them a pretty gleaming clean white. It looked pretty but, we struggled seeing IN the cells. The light reflected back making it difficult to see through the bars. Well, the paint brushes came back out and painted them an ugly boring black and voila!!! It was light a spotlight was turned in the cell and we could see clear as day.

Apply this to face masks. Why would we have white face masks obscuring the vision of our players?

I agree with you. Aqua masks!!

I love our all-whites with any era's helmet. Nothing in the league comes close to that look for me.

I realized that this last photo that I linked in my prior post didn't show up. This is what I'd strongly prefer the Fins road uniforms look like. The difference would be the socks, which I'd go with the throwbacks, aqua with big honkin stripes.

Its also important to me that the players base layer gear and accessories be aqua or orange. Why we're damned to wear white is beyond me.

I just can’t stand the Huizenga era cartoon dolphin and the new Ross era Dolphin and color scheme.

There was no better uniform in the entire NFL than the original Miami Dolphins logo and color scheme.

The only close 2nd would be the Steelers home uniform.

I can handle either of the logos and the color shades. The only feature of our unis that I never cared for was the shadow on the numbers from the '90s. The Niners had the same detail and I always thought that looked amateurish for both us and them.

It was definitely a bad look all around. Unfortunately lots of other teams have gone with design choices that look even cheaper and worse in recent years.

I get it but I was RAISED on the old logo. The only change I saw in the logo was the dolphin moved to be centered on the sunburst, but the dolphin…the sunburst, the hues of the aqua and CORAL (that’s the actual original color, not orange) we’re the same.

When Huizenga change the dolphin to a fat looking cartoon, changes the hues and added navy blue, it annoyed me…but what Ross did was just plain blasphemy

The only thing I personally felt Huizenga did that I thought was cool was the orange jerseys. I wouldn’t want them all of the time but I thought it was a cool looking alternate uniform.

LOL. I hated the orange jerseys. I used to cringe when we played on Thursdays because I had no idea what our color rush unis would look like.
