The Browns head coach deserves coach of the year. What he’s done with 4 different QBs can’t be overlooked. McD has done a lot, but I don’t think we get to where we’re at competing for the #1 in AFC like they are if Tua goes down.
I feel bad that they’re going to be disappointed.

He seems to be a really stubborn person. He’s going to think he’s still worth top dollar or close to it. He’s undoubtedly in for a rude awakening, though.

If the Broncos do release him, how much are the on the hook for next season and beyond?

The Broncos really screwed themselves. They make a blockbuster trade for Wilson that falls flat on its face with Hackett.

They fire Hackett, hire Payton and Payton inherits Wilson. On paper it seems like a dream come true ala Johnson inheriting Marino, but it just hasn’t panned out.

This has turned into a real sh!t show for the Broncos. If the try to trade him, they’ll take a huge cap hit as they will be responsible for a healthy portion of his salary. If they cut him, they’ll be responsible for a healthy portion of his salary.

Payton is going to have to find a way to make chicken salad out of chicken sh!t…and then we’ll find out ala Belichick, was it Payton or Brees that made the Saints what they were.

That is roster crippling money. I don’t see how they can be competitive for the next two years unless they hit on a qb in the middle rounds of the draft and can get away with paying him as such.

That trade is shaping up to be historically bad.

Nothing can compete with how bad the Browns trading for and signing Watson has been.

I would agree, both were horrendous moves. The only reason I would say the Wilson trade is worse is due to the fact that Watson could still come back and perform well (however unlikely), while Wilson is finished in Denver.

If people are going to wonder if it's Payton or Brees, then they should ask the same question about Carroll/Wilson. Russell Wilson was a great quarterback before he was traded to Denver.

He was a QB on the decline and Carroll saw it.
Hackett was/is a disaster of an offensive coach that made him look much worse than he is.
Payton had him back to being solid but he is also using him as a scapegoat for the teams problems

There is a really good chance the Bills are 2 seed with a win and all the way out with a loss

We just need to beat Buffalo. If Tua is healthy, we have a chance. That is all.

If we win and the Bills lose, is there a chance they do not make the playoffs?

Steelers beat the Ravens backups and Jags beat the Titans would leave the Bills out with a loss.

He might need a new contract when this one is up then.

Huh. I have faith in Jags over Titans, and if Lamar sits then maybe the Steelers have a shot. It would be poetic since the Bills are in the same position we've been in for many years now.

Steelers beat them earlier in the year when they had Lamar and he's definitely sitting this game. Ravens will have a ton of backups out there, they are playing for nothing.

It really could be do or die for the Bills by kick off time.
