Im serious we can't catch a damn break! We had a great win today, and I was really looking forward to Dallas putting a whooping on the Bills. However they are having a Horrible game. They are a much better team than what they are showing and guess who we play next week?

Dallas will be looking to prove something next week and were going to be in for a major test.

Agreed. Really the worst possible outcome with that today. We also won't really have a stadium/weather advantage next week, with the game kicking off at 4:30.

It's actually good Dallas flopped today. It shows they really are terrible away from home. Dallas has won all their home games but are 3-4 away, beating only the Giants (5-9), Cardinals (3-10) and Panthers (2-12).

Dolphins should be confident winning against Dallas, though they'll have to limit costly mistakes as Dallas is a good team.

Meh. We caught plenty of breaks to get to this point. If we can't beat Dallas at home next week, we aren't likely to beat them or another good team in the playoffs. We control our destiny and that is all that we should care about. F*ck the Pills. They're the ones who need a break from us.

I’d just take getting healthy at the right time. We control our own destiny at this point. Just need to win a game or two against good teams now.

Yes, dorfdad we know. Jets and zach Wilson were also looking to make a statement today.

Calm down, have a good night sleep, go help an old lady cross the street.

Coach's decision to sit Hill looks like a genius move right now. It would be nice to get most of our injured players back next Sunday.

We've caught enough breaks to be in a position to get the #1 seed by winning our final three games. We can knock the Bills out of the playoffs just by winning week 18. We shouldn't need any breaks. Just win the next three games so we get home field advantage and send the Bills to the golf course.

Jags offense is flailing around; they have left so many points on the field. Ravens do not look like world beaters though, so it really is up to Miami to take care of their own business. Ravens also have a game versus the 9ers next week, so they will not coast to the end of the season either.

For a pretty big qb, Lawrence sure does fumble a lot.

Especially some of our OL. Any word on AJs oblique injury? Hopefully Coach held him out as a precaution.

I think he's up to 11 on the year after tonight, to go along with his picks. 20 or so turnovers.

He was limited with the same injury in practice during the week, so it was an aggrevation, not something new. Hopefully he's going to be ok.

Like us, Dallas has not beaten a team with a winning record. Buffalo ran all over them yesterday and I think Dallas has to be reeling. Whether they come to play or not, I think everything is pointing in Miami's direction.

Dallas can't stop the run and we happen to love running the football. This is a good match-up for us at the right time of the season; I don't think this game ends up being close.

Yes, at home. They are 7-0 at home and 3-4 on the road.

Their run defence isn’t stellar but I don’t think it’s as bad as it was yesterday either. It’s going to be a tough game.

The Dolphins could have caught ALL the breaks if they'd just done their job and beat the Titans. They didn't and now...

Beating the Titans would have relieved the stress levels of fans but in the end the Dolphins still control their own destiny. Win 2 of the next 3 and the division and a home playoff game is theirs, win all 3 and it’s #1 seed. Even if they only win 1 they have to make sure it’s the Buffalo game.

Not looked into what happens if they lose all 3 except a few people will be on suicide watch and StaleTaco’s will be doing cartwheels.

Same thing fans of the Chiefs, Jaguars, Ravens, Eagles, Lions and of course Cowboys are saying. The Jets win is a reason to feel good about this team, not bad. It's very impressive how we rebounded. It might end up being a good thing we lost like that if it means we don't become complacent from here on out.

Err, umm....LOL. I admit that I don't follow Dallas and was taking the national narrative. Sadly, if they spanked Philly then I either completely forgot or never saw it to begin with.

It was enjoyable to see the Jets lose to the Dolphins twice this year. But this Jets team is a hollow shell of anything it was at the beginning of the season and they didn't even have Zach Wilson for most of the game. Not that he's anything to write home about but he's at least better than Trevor Siemian. The Dolphins' D had an easy time of it while on the other side of the ball, the Jets' offense couldn't score with five hundred dollars in a Singapore brothel.
This game is not much of an indication of how the one against the Cowboys is going to go.

Every team, every year, thinks the exact same thing...or at least their fan base does. If we just won that one game, if the ref didn't throw the stupid flag, if the wind didn't blow that kick wide left, if we had only called a run play. That stuff comes from passion and it's a good thing to have, but at the end of the day they're just invalid excuses. There's one goal in the NFL and that's to win...either you do or you don't.

As much as the Tennessee loss hurt and shocked us, it was 1/17th of our season and mattered just as much as the other games. We should be thankful that we've won 10 with three to go, that's the important trend here and where our focus should be. We have one job to do, win next week against Dallas. Then we get a new task (win against Baltimore).

Not sure Wilson is better than Siemian. Wilson has a career 73.2 rating after 993 passing attempts while Siemian has a career 79.6 rating after 1094 passing attempts. In terms of career, Siemian > Wilson but both are crap. Wilson in particular is arguably one of the biggest QB busts of all time given that he was drafted #2 overall.

It's a very Dolphins scenario, though, post-Shula. Every season we've been competitive, there's been one game against a losing team that. had we won it, we would have made the playoffs or won the division or had a bye, and we didn't. It was against the damned Texans for the longest time. This year it was against the Titans. Depending on what happens the next three games, that very winnable game against a losing team could keep us from the bye, from the division or even from the playoffs.

Exactly, just win the next 3 and we will have #1 seed. Tired of all these past years of rooting for certain teams to lose so we have a chance to get in.

Two teams fully control their own destiny each season to put themselves in the best possible position to make it to the Super Bowl. And if we're being honest here, they're usually the best two teams in the league that deserve to be in that position. In other words, they're not flukes that luck into it- it's earned.

Miami has that chance this season and we'll fall into the slot we belong in. I'm hoping it's the #1 seed like everyone else, but it's still nice knowing that we're almost a lock for the playoffs and we should be highly competitive. It's time to earn our keep...to put up or shut up...and see where we actually belong.

For me, it's super exciting no matter how it plays out!

We've got 10 wins. Usually that gets you in the playoffs. I think both Cincy and Buffalo get in at this point. The Bills have figured it out and they'll be a scary team. Cincy is rolling with Jake Browning. Obviously KC and Baltimore are locks to get in. That makes 4 teams. Cleveland makes 5, Jacksonville makes 6 and that leaves us fighting it out with Indy and Houston for the last spot in a worst case scenario type of situation.

I can't really remember the last time we faced as crucial of a stretch as these next three games are. Not under these circumstances anyway. We really, really need to win against Dallas next week.

The assumption is that Dallas will be fueled and charged up after the embarrassing smackdown Buffalo laid on them. I say that it could just go the other way where they hit a bump in the road, trip up and lose again. After they play us, they'll have the Detroit Lions and the Washington Redskins to finish the season. Dallas will be a heck of an opponent for us. We're going to have to beat them. Out of our three remaining games, that is the most winnable one for us. Both Buffalo and Baltimore seem to have our number although we have flipped it on the Ravens the last two seasons. What a stretch this is gonna be.

Can't believe we're at ten wins and it's mid December. Jeez what's it been? 33 years since that's happened? Same year Louis Oliver took a pick 6 from Jim Kelly 100 yards to the house. Same year we beat KC in the playoffs off of a Nick Lowry missed field goal. That KC kicker had been automatic all year and pulled a Jason Sanders with the game on the line.
Same year Buffalo beat us in the snow in a straight up shootout.

Even if we lose the next 2 and beat BooF on the last game were locked in on #3. If we win either the Ravens or the Cowboys and BooF and KC drops any game, were in the 2 slot. We really want the Bronkos and/or Colts to win out. That would most likely keep Boof out of the playoffs.

It is, but there's a 98% chance we're in the playoffs. Our greatest odds are as the 1, 2, or 3 seed (16%, 27%, 27%). The only team with better odds is the Ravens...and on the other side it's the 49ers, Eagles, and Cowboys with guaranteed playoff berths (due to the NFC sucking this year).

The Lions (same record as us) have a 1% chance to miss the playoffs, so we're about equal to them in overall chances. As Brad would say, it's a smart move to take a bet with a 98% chance of winning.

Still doesn't mean they play well. Eagles got smoked two weeks in a row.

Cowboys are bad when playing on the road, playing on grass, and their defense struggles with motion.

Not sure if I agree - the week before, that same Jets team beat down the in-the-playoff-mix Texans and their ROY qb. Zach Wilson was AFC offensive player of the week. Then they run into Miami and are held to the fourth worst yardage total in team history, which includes a ridiculous 4 total yards in the first half.

God knows if Zach Wilson would have done better but at least he's more mobile than Siemien.

And that wasn’t helping him when he was pressured on 80% of his dropbacks. He may have done a bit better in the 2nd half when the Dolphins called off the rush and just tried to see the game out.

I remember being so excited when we drafted Louis Oliver. Always thought he was going to be way better then the turned out.
