But you did just that. So saying you hate to say it shows the kind of person you are. But we already knew that.
C'mon man.. after all the incorrect predictions you made about Tua you're going to act like you're somehow good at making predictions?? Based on your previous post of game-by-game predictions you're predicting we beat the Jets next game and lose the last 3 games. Wait at minimum to see if that occurs and then you can say "I told you so". Right now it's just one loss. You predicted we'd lose to the Jets in NY and that didn't happen. So let's see how the season ends first.
Season's over, man. The likeliest scenario is, we'll be playing our one playoff game in Buffalo, and losing it.
I haven't bothered reading anything else on this game or any of these other threads. Suffice to say it, that ending was a team embarrassment. I hope it makes them embarrassed, to show their *** like that on national TV, against a team that had all but given up. I hope it makes them angry, that it makes them want to kill people (figuratively, of course). They stopped playing the moment Raheem scored that last TD. They check out, hit the showers, went home ... except the game wasn't over. That was on coaches, but also the players to have the pride and intelligence not to let that happen. That said, good teams lose. Often, they lose stupid games, or in stupid ways, and above all ... good teams almost always lose 1-2 games to garbage teams. Teams they should have had no issue beating. It's the NFL, barring maybe 1-2 teams a year, games are competitive and things can go wrong in a hurry. An L is an L. How's Philly feeling right now? KC? Detroit? Green Bay? Jacksonville? The Ravens needed two miracle plays to escape a trash Rams team at home (God, how close that was). Point being ... we don't need to panic. The season has not ended. This doesn't make us bad. It doesn't prove or show anything. It doesn't mean we will miss the playoffs or fail to win a game. Or multiple. All that matters is next week. And the week after. And After ... etc. It's an inflection point for Coach and I hope he's smart enough to see it. To make the changes that are needed. Time to get a little tougher. Time to hold people accountable. Start with going out and pounding the Jets into a red paste. Then take two of three of the last bunch. Then win a playoff game. That's all that matters, focus on the goal. Get it done.
Great.. so you're calling me a leech, and without provocation. From a guy who contributes essentially nothing to this board. I've made a lot of predictions, and most have been proven correct. Some wrong of course, including the loss to Tennessee yesterday. But overall my record is pretty good. Stats help you do that because they represent what tends to occur. Stay classy dude (sarcasm).
I agree with this take by Acho https://x.com/EmmanuelAcho/status/1734716340693524858?s=20 So let’s hope McDaniel has the potion to get his teams mindset right. when Bradley Chubb admitted in the locker room that the team was on “cruise control” That should tell you something, and without any real accomplishment a bit unjustified to allow the team to get there.. but human nature is tricky I understand. Crazed dog mentality should be appropriate mindset here moving forward. Find a way Mike, we wanna believe in your process and philosophies.
remember the 72 season was due to how the players felt after the 71 loss. Hopefully, this loss with propel them to greatness the rest of the year.
I do like to analyze the team in a way where I personally feel good about it’s direction and winning multiple super bowls. Of course I’m guilty as anyone as sometimes over analyzing something that may not be as impactful as I think it is. I do feel comfortable saying after rewatching the coaches tape that our head coach and def coordinator had lapses of concentration and miss managed situations. What I don’t know is whether the mindset is right for a champ team Buffalo, chiefs and now Monday nite I’m seeing a lot of self inflicted wounds and mental errors. Perhaps we need another year of experience and further focus, and health, I’m not sure. Well I’m sure that our injuries are more than any other team in football. The one last question for me remains is, can our coach get through with his Philosophy and process to these players to properly focuse their energy in big games and on the road He did it on the road against Buffalo last year, so there is hope. Some look at it as were 9-4 and the #2 seed, I look at like I can’t see the big picture anymore unless I see a team perform and get a win on Sunday
I started to say that you were right about 1 of our 10 games this season, but then I realized you were quoting a post from Rick...you certainly did not tell him so. Hopefully you told someone about our other three losses so you're not shut out on the year. Pretty hysterical you bumped a three month old post to plagiarize Rick's thoughts...that alone deserves recognition!
"Perhaps we need another year of experience and further focus, and health, I’m not sure. Well I’m sure that our injuries are more than any other team in football." The issue is, we be running out of cap space pretty quickly. Doesn't Tua get a massive bump next year?
No, I predicted the Titans loss, Rick was asking if I really thought we wouldn't beat the Titans. I said yes, and I was right. I also predicted the Chiefs and Eagles losses. I gave my prediction for the rest of the season after the buffallo game, and that is what we were discussing. My prediction for the season has been spot on so far Except for the first Jets game. Here it is again below: "Rest of season prediction: Giants - win Panthers - win @ Eagles - loss Patriots - close win @Chiefs - loss Raiders - Win @Jets - loss @Commanders - win Titans - loss Jets - win Cowboys - loss Ravens - loss Bills - loss "
