Not going to lie, I'm all in on this team now more so than anytime since Wanny wasted the last good roster. These McDaniel conferences are usually around just after I've finished work and had dinner with the family, I'll sit down and watch them every night on YouTube. Even my wife knows who he is now.

I really like his approach. To the game and to the players.

One thing not mentioned is a lot of these guys are Christians. It has helped with the bonding of the individuals.

Probably not mentioned because it doesn't mean anything. That Barry guy was banging on about this last season, it was around then I stopped watching his vids and awful takes.

It absolutely means something. It is a reason they are bonding and uniting together. Tua was even discussing how he and the other QB's were discussing how they pray. Chose has turned his life around and wanted to be a part of it. Tremendous bonding

    Of course it means something.

Just cause you might not be Christian doesn't mean you should knock it.

I'm a Catholic and I still think it doesn't mean anything.

I think personal beliefs should be left out of this. The team is a family regardless of their religious denomination. I'm originally from the east coast (PA) and was raised Catholic. Now I live in the bible belt and religion is straight up crammed down your throat in this region of the US and it gets annoying. Again, that's me, yes I talk to a higher power, but I think stuff like this should be left up to the individual.

Well, to someone with faith, it means everything.

How did a thread about a press conference devolve into a religious discussion? Doesn't this forum have rules about that? Religion & politics have no business being involved in sports discussion.

The observation was about how much the discuss faith in the team rooms and how that isn't very common. So it was relevant, if you watched the show they touched on it. That being said it can't get personnel as between posters.

How does one find out about it if no one tells them about it? I think I live in the bible belt and honestly don't feel like anything is shoved down the throat. If you knew someone was dying would you want to help them out, or do the ole hey it is on you?

Dude, with all due respect, I'll keep our conversations football-related. I think you're one of the more intelligent posters on this forum and I enjoy our back-and-forth when it comes to this team.
Religion isn't my cup of tea. Neither is politics or political-related conversation. I damn sure can't condemn anyone for having their own beliefs/ideologies and I'm not going to start now. My only hope for people is that their respect for each other's beliefs/boundaries is reciprocated. That's not always the case in the South (bible belt). Bigger cities in the south I would guess have a more open mind about things, but I live in a small town in East TN. Trust me when I say this...Religion is pushed hard here. When I go to Asheville NC to catch a concert or I go to Knoxville for a night out with my wife, those things don't happen to me. So I guess where you live in the bible belt matters. The harder people push religion along with "their interpretation of God" on me, the more I back away from things like social gatherings and churches. That doesn't mean that I'm not a spiritual person or don't believe in God. It also doesn't mean I'm going to hell despite what I've been told. Not everything and every experience is the same.
    Take care, go Dolphins?

That's terrible, honestly. Very sad... makes me sad for you. Really sorry you feel that way. Even the devil believes in God.

    Good luck.

I have yet to hear true accountability from McDaniel after that embarrassing loss

His playcalling and his teams mindset were the primary reasons for the loss

I agree. You know how i feel about his play calling. It feels like he does not want to fault his play calling. He did go to the run the last 2 times in the zone so perhaps he has something figured out finally. We shall see what happens this week
