Warning Random Thought:

When I go out of the house sporting any Dolphins gear I either get people saying things like "Oh your a Dolphins fan, I'm sorry" or the typical "The Dolphins suck", but this week however has been totally different and it feels great. I wore my Long jersey out the other day and got responses like "Way to dominate the Pats" and "The Dolphins are looking good, Brown is a beast". I just love how the NFL fanbase (minus the Patsie fans) unite together in their Patriot hatred.

Okay first off, I was fired twice from being a mod. Once by Mindwarp, the other by Muck. The Admins were awesome enough t let me pick who fired me a second time.

If you want to be a mod, one thing I recommend is not going on vacation the first week you are hired. I think I was hired the same time Motion was and ended up going to Hawaii for a month. When I got back, Motion was a Super Mod and I had messages in my PMs asking me if I could handle the job.

My probelm was, I never had anyone doing anything wrong. At least not to my standards...

Which brings me to my next point. No one who is a regular in this thread, should be considered for a MOD position. Sorry enforcerfin, but we clearly have no scruples and lack good judgement. Look at the ocmpany we keep?

I was also an admin at finhell...until that site went bye bye. Perhaps I should stop doing things for websites?

i don't know what all the fuss is about. it's not about reputation, it's about enforcing the rules. i don't think there are a lot of rules that are broken here, the current list of mods does just fine.

people should stop looking at it as a status symbol and more like the functionality the role actually brings. we don't aspire to be cops for our local cities do we? same basic premise....

 

As stated, Mods are just members entrusted with responsibilities to uphold TOS, and to help out whenever/wherever needed to help keep things on the site running smoothly.

 

I like to consider you "exhibit A."

 

Motion only pops in on occasion and...well frankly I forgot you were a mod.

You're right. It's about the power. How I miss it.

 

Its not a power issue with me, I just want to do more then I do now to help out the site. And I cant do the financial part as much as I would like to. I know I'm a jokester, I'm one of the biggest on the site, but I am also a responsible father of 3 with priorities and loyalty to them and this site. I could handle the job, I just want to be given a chance. I dont know....maybe I'm just being weird. I love this site, and all you guys too, your like mi familia.
