Tua showing the art form of the position.

This is too difficult for the indicters to see though..they can’t grasp the degree of difficulty

Take all of Tua's passes, comp, yards, TD's, and INT's from last Dec and this dec and it's 108. You cant just add up all the game passer ratings.

    No it's not. Like I said earlier it's 90.9.

    You have 79 completions out of 140 attempts for 1,264 yards with 8 TDs and 5 INT's. That's 90.9.

That must be wrong- Herbert should clearly be #1 in voting since everyone knows how great he is.

The country loves Tua it’s just the ignorant indicters on tv who can’t grasp the art form

That’s Tuas new name for me

The peripheral manipulation while in the act of throwing is become the level up from next level, only two qbs are doing it and the art form does it most.

I wonder what Tuas numbers are on deep shots to Tyreek this year

From the first game I believe he’s taken 7-8 deep ****s to Tyreek all ending in tds

    Like the guy doesn’t miss.

Tyreek's career stats may provide a great way to compare Tua to other QBs.

Last game, he inched past his best yardage year with KC by 2 yards. It was during Mahomes 1st year starting when Tyreek finished with 1479 yards. The previous year he had established himself with 1183 yards with Smith as the QB.

The interesting part is that he had 905 snaps with Mahomes to achieve that production while only needing 516 snaps with Tua. Tyreek's raving about Tua may be due to how efficient they are whereas he's only playing 66% of the Dolphins offensive snaps while he was on the field for 87% for his most productive year with KC.

Hill might viewed by the casual media as one of those speedy receivers that makes plays after the QB buys time and then rifles a deep pass, but Miami isn't doing that or using the deep drop that Mahomes had success with. Nor is the coverage being busted by the safety biting on play-action as Manning had since he started his career with HoF RBs. Moreover, the Dolphins are not a well-oiled machine that can run hurry-up and catch a defense with tired or incorrect personnel on the field. However, all of these of items that Tua's has previous accomplished so they may reoccur under the right circumstances, such as extending a play to win a playoff game.

The NFL media likes to compare QBs to gunslingers. With most plays 10-20 paces, hasn't the quickest draw led to becoming the fastest gun in the west. And our hero, Quick Draw Tua, lined up between the hashes and hands to the side, ready to out duel anyone and provide a Hollywood ending where his accuracy can plunk the guy that runs off the screen.

    “Tua is next level”

    Drew Brees

Peripheral gauging and peripherally measuring speed while throwing elsewhere is what I think no one else is doing as well as Tua

    That’s next level

This is incorrect. Tannehill regularly had one of the quickest times to throw in the league. One season, there was an analysis of the sacks allowed across the league. They were classified by something like OL fault, QB fault, coverage sack, and missed blocking assignment. Tannehill had the lowest percentage of sacks that were considered the QB's fault.

The OL was near the bottom of PBWR every year and we were a revolving door on the OL. I actually tracked the OL roster for 8 years and we had an average of 2 or 3 changes to the starting lineup every season with the average player lasting only 1.9 seasons on the roster. An alarming number of players were out of the league the year after starting for Miami.

    Ran across this article: https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-the-perfect-timing-a-deeper-dive-into-time-to-throw-data

Interesting read and it totally blows one of the arguments used by the anti-Tua crowd out of the water. Some were making a big deal out of comments by a defender that they wanted to take away Tua's first read. Many of us said "of course"...... well.....

    upload_2023-12-10_6-54-43.png
One other thing that is implied by the article is that a really good OL really really helps when the first read is taken away. Something else that should be obvious.

Now combine that with what Brees said about Tua being great with timing and rhythm and you can see why he is turning into an elite QB.

Anyways maybe Louis Riddick drew Bree’s and orlovsky will help educate the public Monday nite a bit.

The next level that Tua is doing needs to be explained to the indicters.

    Why is it interesting?

I'm not getting into the Tannehill debate again.

However, my opinion on Tannehill and Tua are by no means the same.

All that needs to be said about Tannehill was that he was on a team with a great running game and a very good defense and still could never get to the SB. He was good enough to win games but he wasn't a next-level QB even with a perfect team. We were not a perfect team at any point during his duration either with us or in his best years with the Titans.

Here’s the new narrative that should be talked about

It’s the off script vrs the on script Qb challenge

The undisciplined nature for which Allen plays with is the issue, almost every play he’s moving off his mark to get off script.

He’s great but you just have to keep coming..He’s gonna get hurt one of these days cause he hardly ever works on time from within the pocket. It’s quite unreal how much he moves off the mark and off script

Every play this whiny douchebag moves off his mark

What Tua is doing is every bit as effective and dangerous as the off script ability of these qbs.

It’s quite the dynamic opposite of how to play the game of Qb’ing

It's the difference between an offensive coach who has a very controlled offense and a defensive coach who doesn't know what the hell he's doing with the offense and just lets the QB free-style.

Here's a good example. Just a ridiculous result of the play. But, this isn't going to last forever. Just look at the hit his head takes and the whiplash.

How does he take this hit, land violently on the back of his head, neck snap back, reach for his head in obvious shock, and still be allowed to keep going?

It won't last long. Give me Tua and a clean pocket, slinging the hell out of the ball for the next decade.

Yup I think you are addressing this topic correctly.

Noone will talk about it tommorow they will just say wow what a game he played.

I think it’s evident now what’s happening with some the pundits/indicters

They’re to stupid to understand the art form of timing, anticipation, accuracy and play speed and just fall for the off script ability

I've come to the conclusion that most of the talking heads work off the same set of talking points. They all say the same damn things over and over, with not a one of them digging any deeper except perhaps the "hot take" guys and then they ruin the questioning of the narrative by taking it to the absurd.

While that was an absolute wild play that fortunately resulted positive for the Bills, THAT wouldn’t be the same result against our defense.

Since Ramsay’s return, the Dolphins defense has been ranked #2 overall. They’re shutting down the run, they’re shutting down the pass, they’re sacking the quarterback and they’re getting the turnovers.

That throw by Allen had interception written all over it. Many of them did. I understand the fascination with a quarterback who can go off script, extending plays and try to make something out of nothing, but sooner or later that crap comes back and bites you in the a$$.

Mahomes found that out in the 2nd half of the game against us in Germany and Allen is 10 times as reckless as Mahomes is.
