Yeah, it's almost like he's dropping as he faces actual defenses.

Context matters. Jests' defense has been stellar for most of the season. It'd be even better if the offense could sustain drives and keep them off the field. They deserve credit for the plays they made/our offense didn't make. Conversely, anybody who was watching objectively would say that we made mistakes. Both interceptions were horrible decisions and we also deserve blame for the plays we didn't make/the Jests made.

I stay out of the arguments but it is nothing short of amazing how everything is life/death/black/white/win/lose around here. There's zero nuance in how things are discussed.

If you think yesterday was our best performance of the year, you're either blind or pretending you know something that you don't. If you believe yesterday was a bad day for the offense or the season, you're either blind or pretending to know something that you don't.

Doesn't make me a troll to point out the scratch on the fender of a Cadillac. And seeing the scratch doesn't make me want to sell the car. So why would I argue because somebody told me about it? This place is crazy sometimes.

Football is a form of entertainment for me. It might be time for me to find another pastime if my entertainment stresses me out to the point that I'm compelled to waste energy online by picking fights with strangers.

Yeah, there are way too many people who take it as a personal insult if you criticize anything about the team. Shoot, the Dolphins don't pay my bills nor do they sign my checks. I'd love dearly for them to win a SB again but it's not going to change my life either way.

Speaking of which, we'd probably be 9-2 had Hill not fumble-sixed to the Chiefs at the end of the half in Berlin. Being a faithful member of this forum, I'm going to start pointing out everything he does wrong when people post about how well he plays. You know, just to keep the energy going.

He’s .5 behind 3rd place. And 3.3 behind 2nd. Lol That’s like 1 more completion behind 3rd and 1 dropped TD pass by Tyreek from 2nd.

Let’s see what happens after tomorrow.

Nah, they need to defend their previous hot takes. If they said Tua sucked before he developed into a top-5 QB, nothing will convince them he is (or ever will be a franchise QB). If they said Tua was great coming out of the chute, nothing will convince them that his mistakes should be considered in his evaluation. God forbid somebody should pierce their self-delusion that they've never been wrong.

I see how good he is and I recognize it when he falls short. Life outside the Matrix might not be glamorous but it is worth living.

Yeah, it gets a little annoying. I like Tua, I think he's making the most of what he is. I think he'd do better if he ran a little more but he's not that athletic, so maybe the risk isn't worth it. He's mentally tough and very accurate and McDaniel is making the most of that. Do I think we'd be doing just as well if Herbert were our QB? Probably not with McD as the coach. Herbert is a different sort of QB, who would probably have done better under Flores.

Revis got away with using his hands for most of his career. Many great DBs have. I don't blame Sauce for doing it, I blame the officials for not calling it.

So you are saying if Tyreek was even more perfect Tua would be better? I guess let's disregard the fact Tyreek is such a beast he makes QBs elite in his career, and receivers sometimes drop passes or have defenders able to make plays on the ball.

    Horrible strawman.

I’m clearly saying that the difference between 5th and 2nd is minuscule and it’s not the flex you thought when you wrote that he’s dropping against good defenses.

Really not a horrible strawman at all. You can't take away the bad and keep the good. That's not how this works.

I guess “horrible straw man” is redundant because any straw man is horrible. I’m glad you’re at least admitting it’s a straw man.

You seem to not be able to comprehend the simple point I made. No one is taking away anything. I’m clearly saying that your assertion that Tua is dropping isn’t really a big deal in that the difference to where he was a few weeks ago and where he is now is minuscule.

Na. Your reading comprehension is just bad.

That's a pretty different point, but it doesn't really address what I stated. Tua's numbers are faltering as expected as he faces actual defenses.

Message to all who post here. Be sure to take notice of the Jets fans here who`s attitude perfectly mirror their frustration towards their team after yet another embarrassing loss. Jets play horribly therefore Tua sucks more. LOLOL
Do they REALLY think they're still fooling anyone.???

Even more gratifying since Saleh said his defense embarrassed all elite QB`s. Apparently not ALL.

And? Had it not been for one of the craziest return tds I've seen, it would have been longer.

I'm not sure why everyone wants to nitpick what I'm saying. NO ONE ONE HERE was getting good at that point in the game.

The positive part is that we are winning these games. For the past 20+ years we lose these games where we allow a team to hang around. However, we do have the best defense we've had in 20+ years it seems, so they really took the heat off the offense in that Jets game.
