Ummmm… No one called the Bills world beaters, but you insinuate that they beat the Jets worse than the Dolphins. Let’s recap: You said that the Jets hadn’t scored a TD since week 8 (wrong) Then you claimed that the TD against the Bills was “garbage time” in order to make it seem as if that doesn’t really count. (Wrong) Then you claimed that the Bills defeat against the Jets was somehow worse than what Miami just did to the Jets (wrong) Then you claimed that Dallas is a real team and that they would be a real test for Miami. Dallas has yet to beat a team with a winning record AND lost to the Cards. So, wrong again. You keep moving the goalposts and claiming I said things I haven’t.
I don't have to insinuate it. They beat them by more points. How do YOU define as beating worse if not by more points? You would be among the tiny minority who don't think Dallas is a real team and will be a real test. I don't respect your opinion on the matter. No, I admitted when I made a mistake about when the Jets scored their first TD. You seem determined to make this about anything other than the actual subject of the thread. Not gonna do it. If you don't want to discuss how important the next three games are, maybe you should consider another conversation.
I truly believe we win the next three game. They’re at home where the Dolphins are undefeated, they’re against underwhelming defenses…against underwhelming offenses for that matter, 2 second string quarterbacks and 1 rookie who’s been getting decimated. And before anyone chimes in with, “yea but the Jets defense…” that defense had 27 scored on them…in THEIR house in the frigid cold. The only team left on the schedule I have any concerns about is Baltimore. I’m not worried about the Cowboys. They’re 3-3 on the road and with those wins against the Giants, Chargers and the Panthers. Historically, the Cowboys lose in Miami from mid-November on. The Bills? Ha, they have their own nightmare to contend with. I don’t even think about them anymore.
You should worry about the Cowboys because much like the Bills they still have one of the best ceilings in the league. They just lack consistency.
Some people can't just admit they're wrong. I've never in my life heard of garbage time in the second quarter of a game.
See? You sound totally irrational. I have NFL Sunday Ticket. YouTubeTV RECORDS every game for me. I watch the games through the week. Your acceptance of reality isn't necessary. It exists despite your stubborn denial.
Against the Giants, Redskins, Cardinals, Panthers, Patriots, Rams, Jets… My nephew is a die hard cowboys fan and every season Prescott breaks his heart. I’ve already told Alex the Cowboys are going to lose against the Dolphins. Prescott hasn’t face THIS kind of defense and is going to get torched by Howard and Ramsey.
Prescott has indeed struggled against the great defenses in SF and Philly. I'm just not sure I would rank ours up with theirs yet. Particularly with Phillips out.
Two weeks is an ETERNITY in an NFL season. Some teams in contention will be falling out of the playoff hunt in two weeks, others will be surging. Miami should be setting pretty until the Ravens/Cowboys/Bills stretch run. I think ONE win out of those three will win the AFCEast, as Buffalo will go 2-1 AT BEST versus the Eagles/Chiefs/Cowboys. As long as Miami is playing at home, I like their odds of beating any team that comes in for a playoff game.
McD has to make sure the team ignores the cameras and focuses on the next game. I think the team has plenty of mature players who should keep their teammates properly focused. The only thing we've assured ourselves of at this point is finishing with 8 wins. We were 8-3 at this point last season when we proceeded to lose the next 5 games.
The schedule is just a liiiiiiiittle more favorable this year. Not 3 games in 15 days, 2 on the West Coast and 1 in Buffalo.
Injuries also factored heavily in last season's slump. But you get my point. The only thing an 8-3 record gives you is the chance to win a 9th game.
Just because you lack the income to pay for it doesn't mean other people are in that same position. And if you don't have the stones to say something out in front of the entire board, don't message me. You have nothing to say that's important enough to bother me with your lame attempts at personal threats.
Our defense is going to be just fine. Move Van Ginkel to the edge where he played quite well while Phillips was out.
If you recall, this is one of my main concerns about the Dolphins being feature in Hard Knocks. You can try to ignore it all you want but if those cameras are right there, they're right there. I think it's been a distraction and has contributed to some of the lack of focus.
Phillips was low-key playing right up with the top defensive players in the league. Not saying Van Ginkel can't do his job, but I'd feel better if we signed someone for depth.
Some possibilities to take Phillips’ spot: https://phinphanatic.com/posts/miam...ayers-to-replace-jaelan-phillips-01hg3aag3das Leonard could be an interesting option.
We have the depth on the edge with Gink and ogbah.. If we want to sign Leonard so be it but not for Phillips

Next 3 nothing. Week to week league. our enemy is off next week. Resting. Pondering their fate. Beat washington. Move 3 full games up with 5 to go. Put the pressure on all of Western NY. Pressure cracks pipes. One game at a time. the commandeds O line is abhorrent. They have solid RBs and good weapons outside plus one of the best TEs we will see this season. They will test our resurgent defense. Rivera is taking over DC play calling in a desperate gambit to save his job, so any tape we have may be meaningless. Their pass rush is very good. They cant cover a goddamn thing. Matchup is there. Last road test before we enter the heavily home skewed final third of our slate. Lets eat.
