Watching the Giants choke away a win against the Jests is all kinds of second hand embarrassment. It's still a good weekend, but could be even better.
They have a poorly constructed roster.. i think his head coaching career is definitely tied with Daniel Jones…
Giants SHOULD have beaten the Bills and Jests and managed to piss away both games. That roster is definitely not good, at all, but yeah Daboll's shine has worn off. They just look poorly coached. Lucking into the weak NFC playoffs last year was bad for them. Instead of blowing it up and starting over they threw money at Jones and Barkley and it's biting them.
btw.. one stats update from today's game. Hill is at 1,014 total yards receiving now. He needs 119 yards per game over the next 8 games to beat Calvin Johnson's 1,964 record in a 16-game season, and 106 yards per game over a 17 game season. Doable, just like last year. Hopefully he makes it this time. Would be nice to see Hill be the first 2000 yard receiver in a single season.
Just read through the posts here. Most of the early takes didn’t age well. You would think we almost lost this game. It’s was even close.
Tua throws for 320 and 2TDs and 1pick. Just trash. And if Mac Jones were on this team he would be doing better. People are delusional.
3 touchdowns and it seemed ho hum. The standard that has been put on Tua by far exceeds what has been put on any other quarterback.
Not ANY other QB. The standard people are putting on him is the standard they use for QBs like Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes. Elite QBs. Even though those same people claim Tua isn't an elite QB.
Have to hope Mahomes isn't on top of his game next week. KC defense is real though. Anyway, if KC loses today (and it looks like it) we'll be battling for the #1 seed! Having that is the difference between a clean path to the SB or a slugfest.
Like I pointed out when the Eagles lost to the Jets, GOOD teams RARELY lose 2 in a row. And let’s be honest, KC is a GOOD team. Here’s hoping KC finds a way to come back today, so we can expose them next week in Frankfurt. Otherwise we’re going to be hearing from the peons that Miami can’t beat a team with a winning record.
Nah.. we're in a race for the #1 seed. Need KC to lose. Also, SF is supposedly a top SB contender. They are about to lose 3 in a row. Mahomes starting to ball a bit though.
Good Teams rarely lose. Out of 7 games KC has won 6 so far. I hope KC loses today and next week. Each week is a new opportunity and I don't believe that KC is so mentally weak as to have a lose or win effect them the next week.
Eagles were gifted a win against Miami by the refs. KC is being exposed right now by the team we destroyed. Miami is going to step up and take the top spot in the AFC next week.
Anyone is beatable. Those NFC North teams are going to be problems. Cinci is blueprinting San Fran right now, and that Cleveland defense can get after you. AFC is still going to be a brutal gauntlet. All the more reason to make sure we get at least 1-2 games at home. A win over the Chiefs would be massive, and we have to take that home game against Buff. Jets we have to at least split, preferably take both.
Not sure how all the tie breakers work but winning next week would give Miami essentially a two game lead on KC for seeding if it comes down to it in January.
Chiefs losing this game doesn't make me fear them any less and they will be plenty motivated to recover But them losing to Denver of all times just makes the narrative about who the Dolphins beat look silly.
Well, both of us (as it looks like it’s going to end) we both have lost a non-conference game and a division game. From there I think they start looking at points scored…and if that’s the case, it’s us. Wait, it’s conference records, division record and then points.
I like the fact Denver is slowly coming alive as a team. If they can keep this up and play well against Buffalo (their next game) we might get some extra help for winning the division! They also have a bye after this so they'll be fresh against Buffalo. Also good Cinci is coming alive. They'll help against the Ravens.
Looks like KC is still #1 seed and we're #2 (followed by a surprising Jacksonville). Next week is HUGE! https://www.nfl.com/standings/playoff-picture
