Miami Dolphins Practice Report First, the most significant development: cornerback Nik Needham practiced Wednesday for the first time since tearing his Achilles in October 2022. Needham’s return would be well-timed, as the Dolphins have one of the league’s more generous pass defenses, and No. 3 CB Justin Bethel is injured and not available to practice Wednesday. Needham has spent the last two-plus months on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list, which mandates that anyone on it sit out the first four weeks of the regular season before even trying to practice. But after passing his physical, Needham got the clearance he needed. The same is true for interior lineman Robert Jones, who was on injured reserve for the season’s first four weeks with a knee injury. But unlike Needham, there doesn’t seem to be a spot in the starting lineup for him. That’s because Connor Williams is progressing well from the groin strain that kept him out of the loss to the Bills, and because McDaniel is sticking with Liam Eichenberg as Miami’s starting center if Williams cannot go this week. Williams practiced on Wednesday. So did Jaelan Phillips, who, like Williams, missed the Bills game (oblique injury). The Dolphins’ defense gave up 48 points last week without Phillips and safety DeShon Elliott, who was also back at practice Wednesday. Two offensive starters were missing Wednesday: Tackle Terron Armstead, who still could go on IR with a new knee injury, and running back Raheem Mostert (undisclosed). Running back Jeff Wilson Jr. (midsection/finger) has not yet been cleared to practice and remains on injured reserve.
Might have been easier to just post Entire Dolphins Teams EGO’s after last week! moshert needs to come back but could miss this week and we should still win. Armstead was once a dominating player but he’s just not healthy enough to play anymore. At this point he’s just doing minimum to stay on the payroll man we need to fix the online I just can’t take this team seriously when we don’t address it.
“McDaniel is sticking with Eichenberg as his starting center if Williams can’t go” Williams had better play
He better game plan his *** off then to allow Tua 2.5 seconds to throw as Eich is going to get destroyed up against Lawrence. It's going to be ugly and will cause massive issues in both the run and passing game.
