Good job Ekenberg. A td off the board and now sack on 4th to turn it over....again. What a stupid play that had no impact on the TD
If daniel jones can get 160 million, geno smith can get 3 years 103 million.. tua will get paid. Likely gets the tag but at the risk that he may reset the market after 2024 and really gets a massive deal when we could have signed him for less
Well, I'd let McDaniel find his own QB this time around. He has said all the right things, but it was clear his job was to try and salvage Tua. To be fair, he almost made it work.
Should put White in. Tua took a number of hits today. Call yourself lucky he isn't injured and move to next week.
Didn’t expect the spanking we got today. McDaniel and Vangio got work to do. Allen still playing hope Karma will come back to bite the Bills, what a pathetic franchise…
Let me be clear: You move on from Tua UNLESS he makes a leap and stays healthy. You can't give him a second contract based on the HOPE that he'll eventually live up to it. Save the cap money, start over with another young QB.
Daniel Jones has far more limitations than Tua.. Daniel Jones is basically Tim Tebow in Florida but without any IT factor. Cant throw for **** tua has a market for him, and hes going to get paid, by the dolphins. And it may look like Herberts contract. im not even a fan of Tua, and i know he is limited, but i know that the market has been set for him and that hes better than some of those quarterbacks that got paid.
Tua has made some bad throws but the problem with this game is our defense and our OL has gotten manhandled. We can’t run the ball effectively because we’re getting dominated at the LOS which puts more pressure on your passing game. You can tell Tua is forcing some things because the plays aren’t there.
Why are se even gling for it pn 4th and 18? You are 28 pts down with t min left. Why give them a chance to get the ball back with better field position if you miss?
Hard to believe this team has any chance of contending getting curb stomped like this. Maybe it was an off game but Buffalo exposed our teams major weaknesses and shut down this offense. Goes to show doesn’t matter who you have at WR if you can’t block
I let you guys enjoy your wins against bad teams. This team will win 9-11 games but won't do anything. They have some talent but aren't that well coached, aren't mentally tough or physically tough. O Line will be subpar without Armstead and the defense can't stop anything.
who else is out there? Unless we lose out and draft high which won’t happen there isn’t many franchise qb’s out there. U less you sign a journeymen free agent and hope he fits the system.
Who would have thought, that AVG would be the best player of our front 7 so far? Pretty disappointed in our D this season, at least last year we could stop the run. Tua and the O had a ruff outing today but it was one game and we were missing 2 starters on our O-line. Let’s see how we bounce back next week. Maybe this loss will do good for the rest of the season. McDaniel and Vangio definitely got work in front of them…
Tua deferred hard questioning in the postgame press conference to believing in God/Jesus Christ. Definitely an interesting path to take. Respect for faith but ultimately fans want some sort of explanation for why the team got rocked so hard.
Like all of us true fans, I was wanting the Dolphins to win against Buffalo today. I heard Jim Nance spit out a stat I hadn’t heard before. In the modern football era, teams that score 60 points, those teams were 1-5 the following week. Had I known that, I would have been a bit more cautious in my optimism. The Dolphins were manhandled today on both sides of the ball. The offensive line was being dominated by Buffalo’s defensive front. Our defense couldn’t stop anything the Bills threw at them. The 2 penalties on Kohou were ridiculous. A little love tap on Diggs warranted a personal foul but Jones driving Tua to the ground with his full body weight didn’t? I’m just hopeful being served this humble pie will be a wake up call for the Dolphins and they bounce back next week.
Reporters sometimes ask the STUPIDEST questions. Anyone who watched the game knows why the team got rocked so hard.
I mean, terrible loss all around. The Tua stuff feels misplaced though, just the rats coming out of the woodwork. The Bills put us behind the 8-ball and made us one dimensional all game. Not just that, but forced us into more of a big play mode which is (ironically) not our strength. We are a rhythm team and offense, and the Bills were able to put enough pressure on us with their offense. The defense simply didn't do their jobs. They let the Bills get ahead and let them put their foot on our necks. No toughness. They wanted it more, prepared for it more, were ready for it more. They listened to the hype around us and it hardened them. We listened to our own hype and thought we could prance out there and just have a win handed to us. The next part of the schedule is not hard. Win it out and keep the pressure on Buffalo. Learn to play phsyical. Learn that our hype is just hype. Learn that we haven't earned and aren't owed BS. This is a turning point. We can get mad and turn it into the fuel to drive us, or we can wallow in it and let it consume us.
You know, I've stayed out of the mains for a while because I just couldn't stop myself from disparaging those who don't know what they're talking about and then getting in trouble with the mods. I decided to come back in here a few days ago because I thought MAYBE some of those people would have smartened up. Alas, nothing has changed. "Tua is the problem" etc. Tua had a 92-93 passer rating today, far better than any QB has done against the Bills this season and has put up great numbers overall against the Bills during his career in this offense, and I still see the same stupid ****. lol...The same idiots disappear for weeks at a time and then when Tua doesn't have an MVP caliber game, and instead has an above average game (average passer rating is about 85), those same people show up banging their chests. It's just too absurd at this point. If anyone doesn't think Tua is a top 3-5 QB in this league they are either trolling, stupid, or ignorant. I knew it was a mistake coming back in here. Have fun and to the other people in here that have some sort of common sense, let me just say, The Club is where you should be spending your time. You're better than these other people.
