Not even close man. Go back and watch it. I know, you're the big Tua defender here, but be realistic. That throw was terrible. Trent Green even acknowledged it. Criticism is well deserved on that throw. Come on man that ball was underthrown which is why the defender makes a play. if that ball is deeper and more in front of Waddle its a big gain. It's not an easy throw, but it was a poor throw in the situation.
You can tell sometimes when the O becomes unbalanced because Tua starts throwing crazier passes, that one into triple coverage doesn't happen if we're not just constantly asking him to do all the work. It's particularly frustrating when we keep proving that the run game is viable only to then ignore it.
I don't mean that as a jab. He put on added weight to stay healthy and absorb hits. He was never much of a runner to begin with, adding more weight just makes it worse.
Tuas so good on these short to medium passes. Almost always perfect placement allowing big RAC yards.
Who was that guy we brought in on the D-Line for 2nd and 3rd down? Why didn't he start the game? He looked good.
Difference between not a runner and being able to scramble for a few yards which bulky Tua is able to do.
Got to keep Tua's throws in the middle. Asking him to throw so far outside across his body is asking for a pick 6
