Sadly have to work today, but have the game set to record.

    4pm, NFL Network

Hope to see the starters play the first half and see what cream rises to the top with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th stringers.

Will be interesting today I want to see the offensive line do something. If we can’t dominate on the oline im seriously worried about our ability to make the playoffs

I'd forgotten what time this started but thankfully the NFL app reminded me.

Big fan of Dazn for making the pre-season free to watch over here in the UK.

Well that couldn't have been a worse start. Terrible decision by Tua there.

Edit: Good tackle by him at least.

LOL. Running and throwing is a bad idea for Tua. Doesn't have the arm strength. Stay in the pocket bro.

Defence does their job. Force 4th and 6th. Is it like last season? No we actually convert the turnover on downs.

Barely avoid a safety after a high snap.

A 14 play drive later and the Dolphins go 7-0 up thanks to a Mostert TD

I feel a lot better than I did 5 minutes ago. That was a nice drive, especially after nearly giving up a safety.

OL held up really nicely on that drive. Tua getting time in the pocket and the RBs getting space to manoeuvre is massive.

Another high snap i sure wouldn't give Conner his money this year until he solves this.

I'm surprised we didn't even look at other Cs. Even if you end up kicking Conner back to LG then it would still be a massive upgrade to this line.

Achane's burst is fun to watch. If we can get a halfway competent OL together, then there'll at least be some fun plays on his highlight reel in no time.

I don't care if it's on the Dolphins or not but Salvon Ahmed is an NFL calibre running back.

Not sure about that, as LG he committed a lot of false starts penalties from what I heard, as C that problem is eliminated.

    Ahmed TD. 14-3.

I've not been a fan of Skylar but he looked good on the majority of that drive

Gaskin had a good game against the Falcons. Ahmed is playing well against the Texans. Pretty sure we're not keeping 5 tailbacks, so who gets released? Gaskin is the change of pace back between them but with the continuously tentative health status of Wilson and Mostert, it might be smarter to keep the one who is most like them.

A good point well made. I like all of our RBs, we might not have any top tier guys but we also don't have anyone stinking up the place. It's a nice problem to have compared to none of these guys look any good and we need someone competent. I think we might run into a similar issue at WR too.

One thing I like so far: McDaniel's going to be better in year 2 than he was in year 1. Success on offense is going to come down to execution.

One thing I hate so far: Our OL is so inconsistent, it's hard to imagine how good and how horrible they can be on the same drive. So odd how they've been both turnstiles and a juggernaut within a couple of plays of each other. Might be reaching for the Peptol-Bismol frequently.

Whilst the D hasn't been perfect tonight, they've definitely done a better job than the gaping holes being left by the Texans. Nice drive fellas.

    21-3. Berrios TD.

Edit: I'd be tempted to try an onside kick. I know it's not vital but a bit of practice wouldn't be bad.

I hate watching exhibition games. But I can't lie and say I don't mind watching when we're playing well. And I can't complain about 21-3, regardless of how the game plays out.

Skylar has the heart and desire, but his processing is just too slow. You aren't going to have that type of time in the pocket, and you are going to get kllled.

Glad Tua made it out ok. That tackle must have made some hearts skip a beat. On a side note I'm so glad Bridgewater is gone. Wearing #50 as a QB gets strip sacked loses the fumble and laughs.

I think we'll all take a boring pre-season game because our team is executing the game plan well. Much prefer that than last week where it was dull because we couldn't get anything of note going. It's not perfect yet (Particularly that start) but it's been largely professional.

A good point. Eliminating the Oline penalties seems a point of emphasis so far for the coaching staff but I think I'd put up with a penalty a week to avoid seeing Eichenberg at LG based on the last couple of years.

As I start typing this, we get a penalty.

I'm not going to complain about inconsistent officiating and league rules in the preseason. But I'd appreciate it if somebody can explain why you get a roughing the passer penalty for landing on a QB on a sack but not for landing on him after he lets go of the ball. Dude creamed Skylar and he got up slowly and was subsequently yanked by the spotter (surprise!). If he tackled him the same way while he was holding the ball, it would have been a personal foul.

    Make it make sense.

I made the mistake of praising the lack of penalties from our OL earlier. I think I was the curse.
