Tua is healthy both physically and mentally, tatted up, and watching other quarterbacks get paid.

    The league is finished.

Waddle doesn't catch the ball with his hands. It's why he'll jump to catch a ball with his body when it's not necessary. I really would like for him to have solved that issue by now.

Waddle does catch the ball with his hands. Maybe he body catches more than he should, but he has many catches that are just pure hands.

Lol. I read a few tweets praising Tua for throwing no interceptions and only three incomplete passes all practice.

His stat line: 3/6, 56 yards, 0 INT, 0 TD.

My point: the shared results lacked context of total passes thrown. When I first read Tua “only” threw three incompletions and no interceptions, I was impressed thinking it must have been out of 20+ attempts, not six.

I thought it was a good example of how enthusiastic we fans are for good news about the Dolphins, especially Tua. That's all.

What if Flo and Boyer were the reason why Noah never developed? I'd love to see him turn into some special. Better late than never.

I read that in practices so far Tua has been more apt to (a.) scramble to avoid locking in on big plays to develop, and (b.) throw the ball away more.

    Both are signs of improvement.

Boyer has been very good with DBs so I doubt he was the issue but I could see where Flo could have ruined Noah’s confidence which is a kiss of death for DBs.

I heard or read somewhere that FLO really tore into him. I watched interview with Noah over weekend. Seems like a good dude and ready to roll.

I was thinking more about scheme fit and willingness to let him take his lumps in development. I know Noah was raw coming out of college so he was always going to require patience and coaches willing to let him grow. I don't think he was ever worthy of a first round selection but I think Flo's you-only-get-one-chance-to-make-a-first-impression approach to players might not have been what an overdrafted and unseasoned young man needed.

    Here's a quote from Iggy

It kind of reaffirms what we were speculating about his confidence.

This signing feels under the radar to me. I keep reading great things about Long's performance and hope it translates to success on the field.

As long as he stays healthy, he is going to make this defense, and specifically the weakest part of said D, so much better. On top of his already impressive ability, I think he’s very motivated to prove people wrong this year.

Very excited to see this defense this season. (Haven’t said that in a while, lol)

Cam Smith is the prime example of the player that has round 1 hype when the season ends but ends up going in the middle of day 2 come the actual draft, then everyone claims they knew he was good when he blows up in pre-season and they question why nobody grabbed him sooner.

He's the example of how a player can get a ton of praise in the lead-up to the draft (including an accomplished college career) but fall in the process because teams have a process for determining positions of need and players they believe fill those needs best. He might have been the next player on every team's draft board from 20-50.

It doesn't mean that he was overhyped and even if he's a stud, it doesn't mean that teams were wrong for selecting someone else. It's why I find mock drafts so interesting; nobody has a clue when teams invest years and millions in evaluating these kids. I think it's a hoot when the Pete Priscos and Mel Kipers of the world get pissed when teams blow up their mocks. Not one of them does a fifth of the evaluation that any team does and none of them knows the attributes a team is seeking to fit its schemes.

yeah i think a lot of folks underestimated the signing of Berrios in this offense with that coach on him.

ive said this before in practice reports but what ive noticed most is how fast he secures the catch and gets upfield, now you combine that trait with the fastest qb from a to b in football getting the ball in his hands its an explosive type action when its all combined..

berrios can get seperation and as soon as he does the ball is gonna be there for him to do what he does well..

he‘s been having a really good camp from my perspective..
