Griese but Ryan I might consider since he's got a weak matchup. But Griese's going to give you 220 yards 1 TD especially against a weaker team he's played with. Might consider Jackson because either Maroney's likely out or Sammy Morris/Jordan are getting most of the carries especially in the end zone.
Romo. His last game against GB, he got 309 yards and 4 TD's. Plus, the Packers pass D isn't as good as the Eagles pass D. But Rivers is close.
How did it come to this? Bulger is in for another beating even with their D banged up some. Historically he's been good vs the Hawks but yikes it could get ugly. If you have no other choice go with Griese but I'm expecting the Bears to treat him like he's Delhomme.
Can't believe I'm going to say this but with your options why not...TJ O'Sullivan available? He's been pretty good these first two weeks, goes up against the Lion cubs who give up monster points. This one could go well over the point spread. Try Brandon Jackson as it looks like Grant is still not 100% and the two teams are likely headed to a shooting match. I wouldn't touch Maroney. Bradshaw is the best back for the NYG but is still 3rd string.
A question what running backs I should start for two leagues. First league I need 3 starters and it is PPR Marshawn Lynch vs. Oakland Chris Johnson vs. Houston Derrick Ward vs. Cincinatti Jamal Lewis @ Baltimore Tim Hightower @ Washington Fred Taylor @ Indy Right now I have Lynch, Johnson and Ward starting but with Bob Sanders injured Fred Taylor is looking better. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Second league I need 2 starters and it is PPR. Michael Turner vs. KC Chris Johnson vs. Houston MJD @ Indy Darren Sproles vs. NYJ Tim Hightower @ Washington I have Turner and Johnson starting but like I said with Taylor above MJD is looking better now that Bob Sanders is out.
Johnson and Lynch, and a coin flip between Hightower and Lewis. Johnson and Sproles (especially if return yards count).
I don't know about JAX's run game. They have lost 4 offensive linemen since camp, including two starters.
Who to start @ QB & RB this week? Peyton (@home) vs. Jags or Rivers (@home on MNF) vs. Jets SJax vs. Hawks (@Seattle) or Forte (@home) vs. Bucs
I'm sorry, don't start Sproles over Turner. It should be Turner and Johnson. I don't know why I skipped over Turner.
Ok, pick two WR's - Holt, Moss, Evans, Cotchery, B.Johnson. I'm leaning Holt and Moss again, but something tells me to put in Cotch or even Johnson, lol.. thoughts? Also, i just traded Desean Jackson for Brandon Jacobs, I got Jacobs. Good trade?
Thanks man, that's who I have in currently but with the Ram's offense being as bad as they are I was heavily considering Forte at home, eventhough SJax is going up against the weaker D.
Dear Fantasy Footballers, Please tell Boik14, In Flames, and like2god to accept trades that I send them. It is an outrage that they'd reject something coming from yours truly. Sincerely, A Concerned Fantasy Guru
I totally forgot about John Carlson. He's available in the one league where I need a good TE (an upgrade over Donald Lee) so I picked him up. Great find, guys!
No WR and veteran QB in need of receivers plus 2 decent games, I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier. I guess I was just hesitant to see if Crumpler could do well with Collins.
Thats tough. If Buckhalter gets the start and isn't splitting then I would go with him. Lendale plays Min.
Yeh I know...thats what I was thinking. It looks like I might have to play this one by ear. White has scored every game, but Minn. run defense is solid.
Philly plays Chicago so its no picnic there either. I think Buckhalter will make up for a possible Lendale TD in pass catching though.
Chicago D has not been playing well though, so Buckhalter might be a good go. White is always a toss up, one of those short yardage goal line guys you know will go for 2-3 one yard TDs if you sit him lol. Still, unless Westbrook looks to get some good minutes, id go Buckhalter, he looked pretty solid in relief against the Pitt D.
Just a heads up, expect Steve Slaton to be the starting RB full-time in Houston. Also, regarding Westbrook, I last heard that he and McNabb are expected to play on Sunday.
Yeah if you need RB bad Slaton could be good pickup. Only thing about him is his lack of size around the goal line. Tennessee shut him down in the red zone, bust aside from that he had a nice game. If Schaub can get his head screwed on and open up a passing attack could be a good pickup.
I think Slaton is going to be a hell of a back in this league because of how he fits the Texans system. He's the perfect fit imo.
