Hindsight being 20/20 and all...yes. But my original draft plan for that draft was Brady Quinn in the first and Steve Smith in the second. I think we would be better of today if we had...

 

Eh, I was never a Ginn or Quinn guy myself. I knew we needed a QB but I was never sold on him. It's looking more and more like Edwards should have been the target at that position. However, I do have high hopes for Henne.

 

Edwards had talent but honestly, that guy is a walking injury. It is gonna take one decent hit by Roth to put that guy on a stretcher.

I think Quinn would be starting and excelling here had we chosen him. In fact, I think Cameron would still be our coach...so maybe it is a good thing we didn't take him?

For too long I have yearned for a certain QB in each draft, be it Roethlisberger, Cutler etc. Typically, they get taken before we can pick, or there isn't a solid prospect when we do pick that high.

Quinn was the perfect storm for me. I wanted him badly and he dropped to us. I was so freaking happy for about 10 minutes...and then the bomb was dropped.

 

This is fairly new to me but I really no idea that draft guru's made appearances in the just to talk thread in the lounge.
