No way the Jags give up that pick.

If I get this correct, some people want us to keep drafting QBs and hiring new coaches until they can suddenly turn Isaiah Ford and Lynn Bowden into DeAndre Hopkins and Stefon Diggs.

Or.. we could draft some talented playmakers and if Tua craps the bed in 2021 we think about moving on. Way too many other holes to fill to give up on the man already. (And the posts calling for Flo to be replaced are just lol)

Parker, Gesicki, a first or high second round WR, and running the ball with Naje Harris. There are extra picks to get some offensive weapons even after getting another QB at #3.

Also, no way the Jags trade Lawrence away, but assuming Miami likes both Fields and Wilson? One of them will be there at #3. If the guy they want doesn't get to #3, then don't force it, take Sewell or trade down for extra picks.

If NYJ decides to stick with Dahnold and give him an elite OT, we control the entire draft. As much as I would love to take Wilson at #3, it’s not happening. Miami is going to stick with Tua. If that scenario plays out, we can then turn that pick into 3-4 picks.

Our QB play has to get substantially better. But we have so many holes that we really can’t go wrong. We need a legitimate #1 WR. We need a #2 who can stay healthy. We need better OL play, whether that comes from new pieces or another year or development from what we have. We should take a RB somewhere in the draft. And we need to plug some holes on defense. I think this draft, we’re in a good position to take BPA because there’s literally nowhere on the team that we can’t upgrade outside of X man.

Problem is, 2022 won't be a good QB draft. And we don't know if 23 or after will be. We also won't have a top 3 draft pick next year or the year after, nor will we likely have multiple first round picks. This may be the last chance for a couple years to draft a replacement.
