Titans could of won the SB this year if they had a working defense. The season is not over but its hard to see them make it with the defense they have this year.
What would be truly crazy is if we met them in the playoffs- so many storylines there and so much motivation for both teams to win. I would love that to happen and absolutely hate it at the same time. Honestly, I don't think there's anyone right now that can beat the Dolphins on a good day. But I would be super nervous going to Tennessee in January with Tannehill trying to finally complete his "redemption story". That would be one heck of a game!
This chart totally busts the stupid narrative that Tannehill relies on Henry/play action passes. Also not great seeing Watson/Rodgers are one and two as Titans ****ty defense faces them in weeks 16 and 17.
If that were to somehow happen, as much as I love Tannehill, I’d have to be rooting against him all the way. The funny and ironic thing though would be if the Dolphins defense shut down the Titans offense, that would resurge the Tannehill naysayers again
That defense is REALLY letting that team down, in a big way. They can still potentially miss the playoffs if they don't clamp down some.
Anyone else paying attention to how terrible and tentative Kirk Cousins looks behind that trash line?
I actually fell asleep TWICE waiting for them to try coming back. Luckily, Die Hard came on HBO at 8PM...now it feels like Christmas again. =)
Next Gen Stats: "Ryan Tannehill reached a top speed of 20.13 mph on his 17-yard TD run, the 3rd fastest speed reached by a QB on a TD run this season. Lamar Jackson has the first two fastest runs of the season." Them ACL surgeries/treatments are getting pretty good eh?
Arthur [Titans OC] has done a great job using Tannehills skillset. When he rolls out he becomes dangerous with his legs or the pass. Im suprised Tennessee OC isnt getting any love for an HC job next season.
I was referencing that drive where his center and another lineman were driven back into Cousins almost as soon as he was or if his drop. His line was playing like garbage for like three drives, and he looked absolutely terrible.
oh look forced to win the game by throwing and tannehill ****s the bed for the billionth time bc no big bad running game to bail him out.
Ya that was a terrible game...all around. All teams/QBs have 'em, you'd have to be a 3-year old not to understand that. That was one of those "burn the tape" type games haha...fuhgettaboutit and move on. On a side note, that Titans Defense is atrocious.
So is their OL when it is obvious passing situations. Anyone who didn't see Rodgers with 3 - 4 seconds in the pocket on nearly every pass and Tannehill with 2, is just being willfully ignorant. And, BTW, if Henry is the MVP of the team, why doesn't he get the blame for the poor performance on offense?
To me, this is the epitome of trolling. Anyone who's anyone knows how terrible the Titans defense is, ranking dead last or near dead last in the league in every significant category...defending against one of the NFL's MVP candidates. I watched that game and not only did the Titans play against the Packers, they played against the officials as well. Did Tannehill himself have a crap game? Sure did but the officials sure didn't help.
The announcers made it pretty clear that Tennessee was way out of their element in snow- receivers running sloppy routes because they couldn't get traction, etc. Northern teams practice in the snow....southern teams don't. Tennessee simply couldn't cover or get open in those conditions.
Announcers? Cris Collinsworth just needs to go away! All the man does is talk and talk and talk and talk...saying absolutely nothing at all. Hell, when the Titans stopped the Packers on 3rd down, I didn’t even know there was a penalty against the Titans and what it was because Collinsworth wouldn’t shut up. All I knew was a 4th and 10 for the Packers was magically somehow a 1st down. Then at another point, Collinsworth was riding Tannehill’s jock strap like he always did with Brady but then a quarter later was saying the Titans weren’t built for a passing game. Make up your mind already.
Im rooting for you guys this weekend super hard!! Im so stoked to see a Phins and Titans rd 1 playoff!!!! Go Dolphins! Beat Billsmafia!
The games Ive watched the Chiefs this year and last. What Ive noticed is Mahomes RARELY has to make tight window passes to his WRs... Not knocking or doubting him, but I think this KC offense is set up for Mahomes to be an elite player for a long long time......but I hardly ever see Mahomes making difficult passes.
I was more calling attention to Tannehill's performance on later downs. Here he is on 3rd down in 2020, in comparison to other QBs:
wonder what the excuse is this week for tannehill, last week it was the defense, now he has a lead and is still trash.
He just gifted us the third pick overall... thank you ryan.. go titans. Thank you thank you thank you
I'm not a fanboy if Tanne or anything, but man I dislike Ross. Mando had reported back before the end of his last season that Ross had decided to move on no matter what. You gotta think that Flo would have welcomed Tanne in order to have a competition in the QB room. Would not have hurt.
Their defense is freaking trash. And the oline is garbage at pass pro, Tannehill is one tough mf... he took alot of hits today.
