Dude I can't tell you how many times I have had to watch the little sliders. You gotta' at least listen to the game on the Internet. There is nothing like it. I usually have my computer sound up and the TV sound down. There is nothing better than listening to real Dolfans calling the game, if you can handle a slight delay. Mad Man will keep a smile on your face. It's worth it.
This is no way to live guys. Sunday Ticket. Get it. It's worth it to know you won't miss the Dolphins all season.
I have it now. My last job before the 1 I have now had me traveling all over the place. I had to listen to the games on line in hotels. I still listen to it on line and watch it on TV. Mad Man is heads and shoulders above Jim Nance and Bob Costas and any of them other wanna be's.
I waited for years to be able to get Sunday Ticket - previously I had lived places where I couldn't get Satellite and finally blessed be the heavens I get the Sunday Ticket and what am I rewarded with? 1-15. For the first time in my life as a Dolphin fan I was able to was all 16 games. ....still I would rather watch the Fins lose 15 times than watch the Pats win once!
My son was 3 months old for the SB in the perfect season. He and I had the flu, but we laid on the couch and watched it. He grew up watching and was as fanatical as me. He's calmed down some now tho'. I haven't He always wanted me to wear my jerseys to his open houses etc. at school. So, we both usually did. He thought it was cool. He still thinks it's cool that I wear them all the time, even to evening church services.
The day my son was born I told him the story of the mighty 1972 Dolphins and he sat by me Sunday after Sunday last season - watched his first game at about 5 weeks old Start 'em young and get them branded to what real football is all about.
It's called "Brainwashing" by some. But to my kids it was, and still is, mandatory to love the Dolphins. And their 27 & 35. OR they can't come home for Christmas.......
I'll be in my sitting room with the Fins on HD and letting my Tivo fast forward through the commercials and giving me instant replay. I AM READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!
Letting the DVR get a half hour or so ahead and pushing though the commercials is always a nice way to go about it - screws up my drinks, snacks & whiz breaks though
I'll be at my private clubhouse with a full bar and 12 tvs on 4 games. Pool table, darts etc...... Will only be able to travel to two games this year because of the new baby. I won't miss seeing any though.
I'm in Missouri. I rented a 2000sq ft commercial space and turned it into a private hangout with full ammenities including a regular poker game. There are just few of a dozen donating members with keys. We hire barmaids for parties. Its in an alley with no sign on the door. I always wanted a place like that, so about 5 years ago I was having a good year and did it. It is talked about all over town as the "Dog House", which has been fitting for a few guys on occasion
Missouri - hey we might be related? Cuz? Sounds like a nice set up. I'm thrilled to get two couch cushions to myself
oh man that's awesome.....my dream is to have my own bar...but this is something that's really do-able....you got a nice little thing going it seems....poker, darts, bar and football? sounds amazing....do u need a liqour license sense its private?
i wont be attendance for the first time in many years, trying to find a place to watch the game in williamsburg, va
Dont you need a liquor license and a business permit, and payroll, workmans comp. since you hired barmaids and have them serving drinks?
