GMFB poll on Twitter. Somehow a single hurdle play from the Bills' Allen is ahead of the Miami Miracle - at least at time of posting... Go ahead and vote.
I would never vote for us because it meant nothing in the big picture, it’s empty, the team completely imploded after that game, so screw them and their notoriety.. Sorry
Totally disagree. Yes, the most important thing in any season is winning the SB, but a franchise is partly defined by its memorable moments and not all memorable moments occur in seasons that end with a SB win. Some even occur right before the team implodes. Best example for me isn't even that Miami Miracle, it was Leon Lett's Thanksgiving gaffe in 1993 LOL: We were 9-2 after that win, then totally imploded to end the season 9-7. Still.. that was an ending worth remembering. And let's not forget beating the '85 Bears in week 13 to prevent them from having a perfect season. Yeah, you could say at least preventing another team from having a perfect season was "big picture", but the real "big picture" was that the season was a HUGE disappointment because I think the odds are pretty good that had we not lost to NE in the conference championship Marino gets his first SB win. Anyway, I think the Miami Miracle was the most exciting play of the 2018 season (that I know of) but it's not as impressive as a lot of other great plays in NFL history. For me, the most awesome play ever was Jim Marshall's wrong way TD (never gets old lol).
I would have added the high five play in to the mix. But the Miami miracle could be the most exciting play of the season, let alone the AFC E I've got the T shirt from both plays, but I don't have a twit account so I can't vote.
Well, one of those four plays got it's own name and was watched tens of millions of times on replay. Pretty stupid to put it to a vote since we obviously had the NFL play of the year. Plus, I was snowed in that day with no power...yet I saw it live on a tablet with 1% battery remaining and my 84 year old dad. For me personally, it was the most incredible Miami game ever.
I would have voted for the Josh Allen hurdle, with the hope it continues to give Josh Allen the reinforcement for making extremely stupid decisions. Slide you stupid mother #$#er
Kind of a silly notion don’t you think? The poll is the best AFC East PLAY of the year, not the best team; not the best player, not the best coach...the best PLAY. During the 90’s, the Detroit Lions were one of the worst teams in the league and yet some of the greatest PLAYS of those seasons were due to Barry Sanders. Do you discredit the PLAY due to the complete incompetence of the team? Vote, don’t vote. Vote for the Miami Miracle or any of the others but don’t throw out a blanket statement that you’d never vote for a Miami play because of how in disarray them has been. That’s completely discredits the pure athleticism and excitement of the players and the game itself
