    Here it is:

    https://sports.yahoo.com/miami-qb-ryan-tannehill-traded-titans-draft-picks-191417467--nfl.html

Blaine Gabbert as the backup to Marcus Mariota." data-reactid="33" style="font-size: 15px !important; line-height: 24px !important;">Tannehill's sports agency tweeted that as part of the trade, he signed a one-year deal with the Titans. He's expected to replace Blaine Gabbert as the backup to Marcus Mariota.

Tannehill turns 31 in July, and his departure from Miami had been expected. He became the starting quarterback as a rookie in 2012 and has still never taken a postseason snap.

His contract was to balloon to $18.7 million in base salary this year, and he would have counted $26.6 million against the salary cap.

    from the article:

Miami traded Tannehill on Friday to the Tennessee Titans in a deal that also involved draft picks. The Dolphins sent their sixth-round pick this year to the Titans for a fourth-round choice in 2020 and a seventh-round pick in April.

    We had to give our 2019 6th to get a 4th in 2020 and a 7th 2019

We couldnt give em away without taking a hit... goes to show just how little the league had faith in him.

Sadly enough, the same thing happened with our "current" starting quarterback Osweiller. It may give RT a chance to finally figure some stuff out though- I wish the guy luck!

The Titans did us a favor to unload that contract, we were just gonna cut him anyway so it's nice to get some compensation no matter if its a late round pick.

I am glad that the Tannehill era is finally over in Miami. Lets not fail forward again. I thought Tannehill was a reach the day we drafted him.

I'll say this, I feel somewhat sad to see Ryan go. Performance issues aside that guy had to endure so much from this organisation during him time. He'll always be the tough-as-iron QB who wouldn't give up despite having a horrible OL for so long. A guy who had to put up with crappy coaches, muddled offences, changing systems, and generally had it pretty bad. And although there were some horrible moments with RT17 at QB, there were also some beautiful ones. That man threw some memorable passes, made some great runs, and will be for me the QB the Dolphins partially ruined.

I really hope things go well for him, and he earns a starting job somewhere in the NFL.

God go with you Tannehill. You may have been hated by some but you were my quarterback for these last years. Thanks for all your hard work, all the beatings you took, and everything you gave.

    God speed.

While I don't buy in that the Dolphins partially ruined him, we certainly did not make it easy on him.

The age of mediocrity is over. We now enter into the age of building something special or being the doormat of the NFL. Time to rip off the bandaid and take the risk imo

Love him or hate him, he's the best QB this team had since Marino, save for maybe Chad Pennington. I'm no Tannehill apologist, but for those of you jumping for joy at this news, the odds aren't great in Miami finding better anytime soon. That's not to say Tannehill was a great QB, it's to say how hard it is to find a great QB. And that's the ceiling Tannehill could never crack. Greatness. He was a average to decent QB throughout his career, and that wasn't good enough to get Miami out of this mediocre rut they've been in for 2 decades.

He was flawed to begin with. Crazy athleticism, did a lot of things very well but lacked the true instincts to be a top level QB and leader

He was an unprescdented player in that no one to my knowledge ever played big time college football at receiver and Qb and be drafted in the first round..

He was tough and never complained about the futility around him.

Good luck to his him and his family, he’s a nice person.

I’ll miss his wife more than him!! He just had his chances and never seems to be in control of the offense. He’s like most of the NFL quarterbacks good but not exceptional, and unless you have a team that’s already exceptional he isn’t going to improve.

Surprised Gase didn’t want him for a backup sine he believed in him so much!

All this is true, but it's important to note that the chances are now GREATER that we find a very good QB. As long as we stuck with Tannehill those chances were 0%. We're in better position now. I'd put the chances at around 25%. You just have to keep trying until you succeed.

LOL, unless Luke Falk is the guy. Then our chances were 100% before and 100% after. How's that for some math? =)

OMG.. lol. Let's not get wet dreams over a 4th string QB who has yet to take a snap in the NFL and whose ONLY similarity to a great QB is that both he and Tom Brady were chosen in the 6th round of the NFL draft at pick 199!

As far as probabilities are concerned, what you stated is only a conditional probability: IF Falk is the solution, then it's 100%. Thing is, you have to multiply that 100% by the probability of that condition being satisfied, and 100% times zero = zero lol. Well, technically it's not zero because there are only a finite number of QB's, but after rounding off to the nearest integer it will be zero given Falk's draft position and that there are on average more than 10 QB's drafted in any year.

But if you are talking about chance of the Dolphins having two HoF QBs on the roster at the same time then the number can go over 100 percent (Like the 49ers having Montana and Young both in their prime at the same time). The problem with that however is you can only have one of them on the field at any one time.

If the Dolphins ruined him, then would that not be known by the many personnel guys in the league who would have an eye for that, and would he not be widely sought as a starter for another team?

Some of the fans of the Dolphins believe he was ruined by the team, but the people in the league with a sharper eye for that, who evaluate players for a living, don't?

Two problems with that: 1) probabilities don't add that way, and 2) you're ignoring that these are conditional probabilities.

    In general, for two events X and Y where probabilities go from 0 to 1 (i.e., 0% to 100%) and we represent the probability of X occurring with "p(X)", the equation is p(X or Y) = p(X) + p(Y) - p(X and Y), where p(X and Y) refers to the probability of BOTH X and Y occurring. In other words, even if p(X)=1 and p(Y)=1, in the hypothetical case you cite you'd have p(X or Y) = 1 + 1 - 1 = 1.

Regardless, that's not the calculation because as I said you need to take into account the probability of the condition being satisfied. If we represent the probability of X occurring GIVEN that Y occurred (the conditional part) as p(X|Y), then you have p(X) = p(X|Y)*p(Y). And even if you set p(X|Y)=1, the problem is that p(Y) is so close to zero when talking about Falk that p(X) ~ 0.
