Im going rivers...which means goff would have thrown for 400 and 3 td with no gurley. So im going goff...
I often find that when you feel that you may be trying to get cute, that usually ends up being the case.
Why the heck is Kenneth Dixon receiving more snaps than Gus Edwards? This is ridiculous.... especially after the fumble (his 2nd in the past 4 games since returning to action).
And who would have thought that I should have played Darnold and ANDERSON, although I like what that looks like for next year. Darnold really coming on late in the year and ANDERSON finally healthy and showing who he was last year and looking like Darnold’s number 1
Congrats man!!! I didn’t have the cajones to bench Cooper and Ebron (who have basically gotten me this far) for Jamal Williams and Njoku (I did actually consider it but they’ve been so good) or bench the Bears for the ravens. The good news is as much as CMC worked against me in this league, I won my pay league cause of him (and Kamara and Sony Michel).
You know what’s really funny...if I would have played Todd, I would have beaten him by less then a point for the 2nd straight week.
Heck of a battle. Until Deshaun went off at the end of the game wasn’t sure I was gonna survive. Julio being on an unknown pitch count didn’t help, and Diggs disappearing too. What a fun year. Especially to take a roster with 5 fullbacks and 4 TEs when I started to the top in 3 years, pretty good rebuild. Let’s see where we go from here. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas!
The trauma faded at the end, but I really like where we are heading into next year. Making the playoffs in year two of the rebuild is a winner of a season for me.
So, now that the declarations for the draft are done and the NFL order is basically set, what does everyone think is going to happen? Does anyone take the chance on Murrary actually sticking with football? Will there be more than 8 offensive guys that deserve to be round 1 picks? Should be an interesting draft. I will say seeing Sony Michel run wild at the end of the year as been fun to watch as an owner Quite the backfield that's amassing at Chubbing around. Gonna have to derive a new team name potentially. maybe something like "The Stable" lol
It's definitely looking like a Defense year. But there are some sneaky good skill players coming out. I think this is a good year to get value at RB WR and TE. TE especially. There are some good NFL quality TEs being produced by college offenses today
Since I have James Washington and Ryan Switzer on my roster, I'm rooting hard for the Steelers to divorce Antonio Brown!
One of the problems is that we now live in a world where there were only nine players who ran for 1000 yards this year, and one of them was an undrafted rookie who few would have predicted to have done anything, while another was a former great who only ran for about 1000 yards combined in the four years prior to last. Finding the right players at the position is more of a crapshoot than ever.
Finally an OC that can recognize how good Derrick Henry is! #MattLaFluerSucks https://amp.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3...m=#fff&p.bgc1m=#0964bf&p.bgc2m=#053a74&sr=amp
There are a lot of players to root against on that team. I almost feel weird rooting against the Browns, given their decades long struggle, but it is what it is.
I really think Cleveland did this for the benefit of having him as a restricted free agent and getting compensation if he signs. He won’t play much if all in 2019
How they gonna boost his compensation if he’s not playing? If he proves to be the best back there, then he’ll receive plenty of playing time.
If he doesn’t sign with them after next year, they will get a compensation pick. I’d be shocked if he plays more than 6-8 games at best.
