Gotta be honest, I’ll take Sundays like this all year long(minus the Falcons losing......that could have been different)!
Wow, there’s only going to be 3 teams over .500 after this week (almost seems mathematically impossible). Playoff race is wide open!
I sort of played out the scenerios a few weeks ago, and did not see that coming. I thought I'd be way back, almost hopelessly so, but I'm safely in right now. We'll see if I can make it in despite being the 9th or 10th highest scoring team for the second year in a row!
That crashing noise you hear is the 200 pt barrier. Gotta enjoy it while I have it lol. May be the last time knowing my team.
And I'm here going through the transaction log every day looking for other people's trash. I've spent a lot of the season with two open roster spots because there weren't any players worth claiming. But I'm still looking pretty good to end up 7-6 and squeeking into the playoffs again! ....as the 9th or 10th highest scoring team....
True dat. FA's have been difficult to come by this year. Off the top of my head I think the only 2 worthwhile in-season pickups were Valdez-Scantling and maybe GIK's rapid snare of Maurice Harris a couple weeks ago.
I think that its a combination of a ton of injuries and more and more teams spreading the ball around a lot.
SO Todd, it looks like you're winning by more than 100 points this week.... And I was feeling bad about losing by 70! It also looks like after today, only four teams in the league will have a winning record!
I'm getting crushed in this league. I literally have to flip 3/4s of my roster over the next two years. What the hell did you get me into?At least I'm crushing the regular fantasy league
Three years ago i took over a team that had 5 fullbacks and what felt like 8 second string TEs lol. I can be done and it’s fun. Dig in, don’t be afraid to trade guys for what you feel is value, etc. the hard part now is everyone wants their picks and it’s hard to get them lol. Keep your head up and enjoy the process!
After the Thursday games, I'm projected to lose by several hundredths of a point. That would be just my luck.
I was in the same spot last year. Figured 3 yrs to out together a solid roster. 2nd year is better than expected so far. Gotta take some chances on rookies and young 1st contract players you may have to sit for a tear or two.
To think that I had Tyreek Hill, Kittle, and Tarik Cohen.... but traded them for Beckham Jr. The neat thing about that though is I got all 3 of those players for free in FA, so you could say I basically got Beckham Jr for free.
It sounds to me like the half dozen or so guys who had teams before ownership flipped the last two years didn't take things all that seriously!
There were some that were less active then others. The funny thing was the teams that me and Todd took over were nothing special at all. The team I previously co managed with someone else diminished slowly after i got my own team...which was Blount Force Trauma.
AND it’s funny how the guy I least wanted to draft last year(McCaffrey) is the blowing up this year. Shows there’s no place for fandom in fantasy football. Go Falcons! Lol
Ugh, friggin' Fournette getting himself suspended not only cost me this week in our Clemson league but probably cost me a 1st round bye in the playoffs too. I know B4him's happy! I was all set to leap you into 1st place this week [with a game up on everyone], then Fournette happened, Coutee left with an injury, and I subsequently lost by 2 pts. You get to retain 1st place and I drop to 3rd.
Liking my trade of him for Julio better every day. And I hit 200 for the second time in 3 weeks. I could get used to this!
Hey my bench is starting to look like yours a bit, finally. Corey Davis and Mike Williams coming on will help and Chubb is becoming a monster. Hopefully Michel can find a groove but not sure it will happen this year. May be next before he really shines. Still got a ways to go though. Not done yet!
Well, my season is over. Not a shock, given that my two good RBs combined to play in two games and gain 68 yards while not scoring a TD. The Browns trading Hyde to Jacksonville was the nail in my coffin.
