We'll see with Michel. The only player to ever run for 800 yards in a season twice for Hoodie was Corey Dillon. In fact, the only player to ever run for 1000 yards more than once as a Patriot was Curtis Martin, who did it each of his first three seasons there, before then going on to do it seven more times in a row for the Jets. That squad just changes out RBs all the time.
I think they're tired of doing that, hence the 1st round investment in Sony. They wanna lessen Brady's load and lean on the ground game more, just like the Saints did with Brees last year. While the league is defensively geared up to stop the pass, Belichick will likely start running it more in exploitation. Sony immediately became the most talented runner in New England by a wide margin, in an offense that can rank top 10 in rushing yards two straight years with nobodies in the backfield. Belichick isn't gonna take many touches away from Sony just to give them to an inferior player.
1.5 is available for the right offer. Ill make my pick before the end of the night. Ill be looking for a player more then a pick but open to ideas...
I messaged Sick....then it’s the guy who should rename his team “My Ball Zach Ertz” just cause it’s funny....
I'm at pick number 8. I have a few errands to run this morning, but if Sick makes his pick, I'll make my own as soon as I get home. Puka, if you'd like to make me an offer to skip from 10 to 8, I'm open to listening. Not very interested in going from 8 to 13.
Open to moving 1.09. Open to moving down, trading out for a RB (or maybe a WR), or moving it for future picks.
SO, does anyone really believe that Le’Veon Bell would sit out half the year to avoid another 400 touch year on a limited contract? I’d love it as I have James Connor but don’t know if I see it happening.
Most players wouldn't, but Bell is a different dude. Its rare to see a player entering a season with one foot so squarely out the door - when everyone knows he'll be somewhere else the year after. If the Steelers weren't a contender, and if he weren't so vital to that, I'm sure that they'd be trading him.
Multiple people have said that he's dead set on averaging more than 15m per season. Cutting off his nose to spite his face.
I know it’s a slow draft but I’m assuming you have contact with Sick outside of this forum? No activity since April I remember him being a regular here. Edit: Of course there’s contact if there wasnt we’d have another owner
My pick is in. Glad I had a plan C, after the six RBs I was looking at and my backup plan of Gesicki were off the board!
I'm much more interested in building my own team and seeing what the rookies can do, than taking on someone else's leftovers.
True that. But not many of the trades I've had offered since last season have been for players that I like. I'm actually really happy with the depth that I have on the roster now, but I need to see if any of my guys step up as stars. Some have been in the past, but none were a year ago.
