https://www.lockedondolphins.com/do...cations-for-adam-gases-new-offensive-weapons/ This new Dolphins beat writer is what this town needs..
Gase now has his pieces, Parker looks to be ready to take a step up in play, you have plenty of slot options, Drake is about to become a star, Ballage is being tutored and seemingly has his head on strait.. And of course Ryan is back.. Gase should have this offense cooking out of the gate..
If Gase isnt afraid to run the read option with ryan and about 3 to 4 boots a game then our chances will be even better.
big fan of Travis, read his stuff, listen to his pod casts.. dude is a total homer, even more so than me which says alot
That’s back when Julius Thomas was a legit iso mismatch. Before the weight gain for the jags and the I’m just playing for a paycheck in Miami.
Travis' podcast is a blast, knowledge, deep analysys, and he even got a beautiful radio voice IMO, always a pleasure to listen
When you are from Seattle and you find a reason to like a team from Miami FL, you are going to be a tad more attached than most But you are right, his content way outweighs his sometimes overoptimism.
Very good, well-thought article, and beautifully articulated. I agree on all fronts. I'm not into college ball, so I don't start looking at players until the draft is within a couple months. From the time we drafted Mike Gesicki I've been very excited. I always wanted Greg Olsen, and I believe Gesicki is an Olsen clone, only with more vertical. If him and Smythe develop to their potential I could see Olsen and Witten juniors. Not that Smythe has the gifts of Witten, but in that mold, like Fasano who I always loved. Drake, Gore, Ballage, I love. Great backfield, which most recent years is a strength of the Dolphins. Parker, Stills, Amendola, Albert/Grant, and don't count out Ford. Great depth. Health, fundamentals, synchronicity, and this team will be playoff bound! Why be afraid to say that? Isn't that the goal?
I think he does an excellent job of being objective and incredibly thorough in his analysis.. This town needs a beat writer like this..
There's been a lot of talk about the Dolphins makeup of late. I blame Stills and his Alice Cooper warpaint. Hopefully, we'll turn out more Kiss than Twisted Sister...
That's always been my only critique of him- you have to try to show that you're unbiased even when you're not. He does excellent film work though and I enjoy reading his stuff.
From your keyboard to Gods eyes please yes!!! They guaranteed at least a split in the series with another win last night. Doing stuff today so I had to record it. Next 6 games tell us all if they are legit World Series contenders. I think they are definitely a playoff team barring natural disasters. I swear I hate myself. My two teams have the longest playoff win droughts currently active. Sigh...
I like the tape analysis by and large but that site makes you feel like you have 53 current/future all pros
