Anyone else surprised at the lack of trades in general? I wouldn't mind picking up an extra slot here.

Great pick at running back. Another rb with 4.4 speed and can catch.

Tannehill and Gase have no excuses.

There's the RB. Hopefully we see some highlights and get some info. More of a home run hitter or bowling ball/short yardage? Anyone?

They are clearly not as concerned about certain positions as much as we are. LOL

He's a great catcher which Gase needs in his offense. Pick make sense.

These are the types of risks I like to take. Scary he didnt exactly run through the weak Pac 12 defenses, however he has the build and speed to be developed.

We are absolutely addressing needs here. Drake is unproven over a full season and has injury issues. Gore is 56. RB depth is important, bonus if return ability.

Well Gase will have an excuse when the defense gets gashed cause they don't have a good d line

Pass catching back out of the backfield, big bodied player, hard to match up against..I like it. He definitely needs to improve as a runner, but this pick is definitely intriguing.

This team continues to get faster with the exception of our first pick today. Thats a good thing.

Lance Zierlein doesn't think he has the vision to be effective running the ball; however, his pass catching out of the backfield is excellent. Bucky Brooks thinks that he may surprise everyone with his productivity. He said we have an excellent RB coach who is very good at developing RB's.

I really do not like Ballage as an NFL prospect. Terrible vision. Bad pad level.

    Time to install turf.

What's the point of all this speed if they are slipping with every cut because the lowely Cane's have screwed up our field.

Saw a video on nfl.com where they asked who will be the next Kamara and KB was selected by one of the analysts.

I like the last two picks. I actually had Smythe as a target for the 6th round but if we like him a late 4th is alright. This guy can block and I think he can be effective in the passing game. He's a bit slow but he runs good routes

Ballage may not play right away. He has to improve his pass blockibg. There is potential there though for a helluva dynamic duo

Drake played well last year. He and KB could make a great pair going forward.

Also saw a Joe Mixon comparison. Would of loved Mixon last year. Mixon's numbers as a rookie weren't impressive due to Cinci having one of the worst O-line's in the league. But Mixon flashed brilliance numerous times when given legit opportunities from his line. Also saw that his top speed was clocked in at 23.3 MPH. Pretty nice for a guy who is 6'2" 227lbs. In the late 4th, why not take a physical specimen with potential to grow into a featured starter, at a position with question marks? Gase wants to do RBBC (ugh) and this is a guy who at worst can bang in the redzone (scored once every 9 att) while having talent and physical tools to play all 3 downs with homerun ability.

I'm on board with this pick.

Ballage does not hit the hole quickly and barely hits the hole as it is. Short yardage and goal line will not be his forte

Well we have the primary in line tight end now. That and a looks like Tarzan plays like Jane running back with ideal scheme fit receiving skills.

    Slightly left of center
I'm really shocked Luke Falk is still unpicked. I'd be happy if we took him at 209.

I always love the “who’s the next Kamara?” Pre-draft Bs, setting up fans for disappointment.

Lol maybe there isn’t a “next Kamara” in this draft. It took forever for the NFL to get the “next Brian Westbrook” and that’s Alvin Kamara.

Or I guess special players just grow on trees nowadays.

Here’s to hoping Ballage is adequate enough to be useful in the offense.

Are we screwed at kicker? Seems like a run on specialists and we may not even get a chance at Pineiro.

I'm a fan of the Ballage pick, but he needs work, and the comparisons in this thread are ridiculous. He's boom/bust.

I hope he works out for the Phins.

Expecting moderation on here is always risky, 99% of the time it seems we're either playoff bound or on the verge of going 0-16.
