No idea, its impossible to gauge, lol. I could see a team taking him high, especially someone like Pete Carroll and the Seahawks who already have his twin and who was videoed fist pumping when Shaquem ran his 4.38. On the other hand (no pun intended, lol)... he could fall to say the 4th round. I dont think he makes it out of the 4th though.

If I had to guess, I'd say somewhere on Day 2...

    2nd or 3rd.

if we don't get Roquon with our first he better be the guy in the 2nd.

4th is reasonable. I see 6th round. Prior to his combine he was probably off the boards on half the teams. I just don' see that huge a move up because of a good combine.....but it' possible. If he goes 4th that' all combine

LOL come on dude. He was insanely productive and is extremely skilled. 2nd Team All-American. The combine showed how athletic he really is which mirrors the tape.

He's not a combine warrior. Dude was a freak on the field...

It is not unheard of for a player who was not on the draft board to move up to the 4th round due to a great combine/pro day

Like I've said throughout the thread. He has speed and instincts, good pass rush moves but he's short, one hand, will have trouble shedding blocks (even wr blocks imo) will have trouble wrapping up, will have trouble tackling from behind.

Saying he cant shed a block even against WRs is ridiculous...Hes not a nose tackle. Most linebacks don't shed blocks with their hands. I dont think you have watched him much. He does a good job getting through blockers now.

I'e seen receivers take him out on running plays. Not many but that' still college. In the pros receivers can block.if he's as good a prospect as you and DJ think he'll go 2nd round. If not he'll go 6th or 7th

I really don't know how to respond to this adam. Can you show me examples of this? I'm not saying you're making this up but... well ya I kinda am, lol. I dont know where you're getting that from. Dude takes on OLmen on the regular and wins. The concept that WR's block him on the regular in the running game is straight fiction...

How did "not many" become WRs block him on the regular

Misread the post honestly, but still that doesn’t happen. Maybe some weird play where the WR got him from the side or something weird with a bunch of leverage... but show me WRs blocking him any more than other LBs.

It was just standard sweeps and off tackle plays. Receiver got position and he wasn' able to go through it or around it. I just think with his size this is going to happen in the NFL a lot more. He needs a bit of space to get around blockers. He' not going through them

Here you go. Please point to the multiple examples where a WR engages him from the front and he cant shed it (not blindsiding him or something).

    Auburn Game:

What are you a moron or someting? I'm not watching the games again. You want to see how he disengaged from blocks watch the games youurself. That' why I gave you the list.why am I going to spend 6 hours watching film of a sixth round backup/ special teamer

LOL there is zero point in arguing this with you. Your mind is made up on things you've fabricated in your own head for some unknown reason. Dude was the most efficient pass rusher in the country last year b/c he was great at getting through and around blocks by much larger offensive linemen... but he struggles at times with WRs blocking him. OK. Have fun with that...

    Not worth discussing actually

Typical response. Someone disagrees with your opinion, they have fabricated theirs or are lying. The way you guys talk about him he should go number one overall. Have any of you even brought up one flaw yet. Apparently the guy is a perfect linebacker lol.

Hey, I asked you to simply show me what you're talking about. I linked the videos. The plays you're talking about simply aren't in there, but I linked the videos anyway. I can't show examples of things that didn't happen to disprove or counter you, lol.

I would say his size is a concern depending on the role you're asking him to play. If you're asking him to play the Whip, Will, or $LB, I think he's a great fit. He would not do well at ILB taking on guards who could engulf him as he's better in space where his speed becomes an asset vs. inside where its marginalized and his size would become an issue.

What you'e asking is for me to rewatch the games because you don' believe me . There are posters here who have the time to make special videos and isolate certain plays, not me. I am only offering my opinion. And as surprising as it might be I agree that he could be a good hybrid nickel wlb. I also think he's going to be an excellent special teamer. But as a traditional wlb Ihis size will be too much to overcome. His game is speed, pure speed. And that' why he should last till the 4th earliest maybe 6th or 7th latest

Do you think WLB is too much for Roquan Smith at his size? Because they are the same size?

Person has to start a thread and admit they were wrong and give credit to the one who was right?

Wanna bet on Edmunds too? I’m riding solo on that as is?

obviously he will go in the first because all folks are enamored with the athletic ability and size but imo he will be a first round dissapointment.

That kid is gonna be a lost puppy at the next level for a few years, I just would not be able to drop my 12 th pick on such a project

I don’t need examples of those isolated incidents, I believe we all big boys and can watch the tape ourselves, I too am not into showing isolated examples of my evaluations, it’s my opinion, If someone doesn’t respect it after all these year then so be it.

However jmo I think you saw it once and made a generalization of his game..

He’ll I can show examples of Edmunds tracking a running back to the sideline and winning the play, doesn’t mean he knows what he’s doing all the other times..

I think your thinking that we’re raising his stature as a player because of his disability, that couldnt be farther from the truth, imo I’m enamored with him like I was Tyraan Matthieu, I see rare instincts and a very distinct type of athleticism in his game that when I see that, combined with the instincts it always projects well at the next level.

Ok but how do we decide when the bet ends. After one year, three years. Also I don' get what we're writing about with the other bet. We are writing we were wrong what round he would get drafted?

I think for Griffin I said he would be closer to my projection of him going in the 2nd round than yours in the 6th..

For Edmunds I say he will be a first round disappointment..we can wait on that for a few years but will keep a close eye moving g forward.
