My guess is wade asked for this after the Hill, Hood, Clarkson acquisitions which would have impacted his minutes. Adrian Wojnarowski ✔@wojespn Miami will send a heavily protected second-round pick to Cleveland for Wade, league sources tell ESPN. 1:09 PM - Feb 8, 2018
So absolutely nothing to take on a contract and build goodwill. I'm VERY happy I didn't buy a Vice jersey yet. Now I know whose I'm getting.
Cleveland is probably not done. If they can get a good deal, that Brooklyn pick might be available. I wonder if they don't get LAC to take on TTs contract and swap the pick for DJ+.
Cleveland now has three young guys, a solid veteran in Hill, Brooklyn's first round pick, and Kevin Love whom they can move for assets .On top of that, they gave LA an expiring contract to get enough space for LeBron and a serviceable wing player. The fact that they traded IT to LA really makes it feel like a signal to LeBron.
I have to say, I am impressed by the deals Cleveland is making. They just vastly improved, and were able to get solid players for their crappy ones. Good job to their GM. **** them
**** that ho. She was talking mad **** about the heat and had a lot of influence on Wade going to chicago. She is as fairweather as it gets.
Isaiah's agent just told the Lakers that he is not coming off the bench, lol (source: The Jump on ESPN). He is already starting s##t. Lakers aren't benching Lonzo. If he gets bought out....come get this vet minimum from Houston, lol. You coming off the bench though.
For a RFA like McDermott I’ll take it as long as no picks are leaving the Knicks hands. I wasn’t a big Mudiay fan coming out but it’s a low risk gamble. The other side is Knicks love those lottery rejects: first Beasley, then Burke, now Mudiay...
And the Knicks didn’t even give up a pick! They’re learning! Instead they merely swapped the 2nd they had via the Clippers this year (from Pablo Prigioni trade a few years ago) with Denver’s 2nd that they owned from Portland.
He got traded one day after his birthday. Cavs gave him the gift of being traded to one of the worst teams in the league, lol.
It’s not that he’s bad, it’s just that he’s limited in what he can do. Scoring, yes. Rebounding, yes. Defense and passing...not so much.
Orlando played themselves....asked the Knicks for Ntilikina for Payton and when the Knicks laughed at that and got Mudiay they literally dealt Payton for whatever they could get (Suns 2nd round pick)
Per Tim Reynolds, Wade expected to arrive home tonight and be at shoot around tomorrow morning which would indicate he’ll be available to play tomorrow night I imagine he slides right into the starting unit, putting TJ back into the bench role where he’s more comfortable
I dont see why he would be starting. Hes not better than most our guards. Its nice to have him back because he is our own, but lets not be delusional of what he is.
If Wade was on the bench behind JR and losing minutes to whoever tf that other guy is, I question him starting. I see him more as a second unit distributor. There's no ball handler off the bench right now and he's probably our second best passer .
Riley says trade was a short notice situation but that they are thrilled and believe Wade will help competitively. Also says Heat will be active on buyout market with the disabled player exception
More Riley: Says he told Wade that he has eaten his last meal of strawberry pancakes and that he needs to get back to Heat shape Lol
