Anybody see this game? I know Brady wasn't playing, but damn did the Pats look bad. Their OL looked like it picked up right where it left off at the Superbowl. Brady or not, if that line continues to play like that, the Pats can forget about the superbowl this year. And their special teams was awful!!! two kick returns for TDs.
I dont put a ton of stock in the preseason, but this is promising. Still, until they start blowing games and looking like poop when it counts im gonna hold my breath. They always seem to catch every possible break and get every possible bounce. Until I see that luck get tossed for more than a super bowl game and some preseason skirmishes .... Very hopeful though, I hate those stupid pats and all their stupid bandwagon complaining fans.
I watched this game on NFLN. I can understand their offensive struggle since Brady is absent but their defense looks really bad. Jerod Mayo is having trouble with the playbook and says hes "uncomfortable" right now. Their defensive backs are constantly commiting penalties and look average at best. One positive thing for them is their red zone defense. That still looks good for them but everything else doesn't. I thought Wilford got moved around easily by the Eagles linemen. Watching Wilfork, his biggest weakness seems to be when a Running Back is running directly at him. He absolutely cant' do anything if you run at him. Their defensive ends looked average. Only time they got pressure was when they blitzed the whole front seven. McNabb picked them apart. Then Kolb came in and picked their first string defense apart with second stringers, guys like Michael Gasperson at the WR spot, whose a talented guy but a backup.
