Guys...you can't play warcraft. First off, we all spend all of our free tiem on this website. Second off, we are all dorks enough loving our football/photoshop/poop humor/ etc. Do we really need to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt how geeky we all are by playing warcraft on top of this?

I say we shotgun a few beers do a panty raid and end the night in a huge food fight while digigng up John Belushi's corpse and replacing the body with Jim Belushi.

New dilemma : MY work has opted to pay for me to do some training which will require me to travel by plane to a distant city for five days alone. The kicker is its like the next couple of months so I have to decide very soon. Choice A: San Francisco. I would love to go to S.F. But I am going to Tampa Sept. 1st to 8th and this trip would be the 15th through 20th. I dont think I could afford the trip to S.F. so quickly after my vacation, they will reimburse me but you have to have money to be reimbursed not to mention the 7 hr flight .The second one is in Oct. in Philly, I mean come on...its Philly. Then in Nov. I could go to Dallas......hmmm...

I vote Frisco, but purely for selfish reasons. We could drink the night away, blow off work/meetings/training and vomit everything we paid for from the night before on the doorsteps of my Russian neighbor's house while stumbling and mumbling USA USA USA! like I did the other night...

Just watched the U.S. men's relay team literally drop the baton. So depressing.

 

Good news is we won Gold in both mens and women's beach volleyball.

 

Way to spoil it for the west coasters. They just went into the third set out here.

 

No company/business credit card? Put the hotels and rental cars on it and it gets paid when you get paid.

Keep your vacation stuff on your own cards of course.

 

I asked about that and they told me they only do reimbursements. Which is bogus, IMO. I told them I didnt have a CC and the travel woman told me that I could take a shuttle. I was like what? You want me to go to a city I've never been in and use a shuttle to get around and then be confined to my room the rest of the time? yeh...ok...

I'm going to talk to my boss later....see what he can get done about it.

Well, in all honesty, you probably DON'T want to drive around San Fran. Take the trolleys/cabs/buses/Muni system/BART if you need to get around.
