You need to watch the movie Hackers or any episode of The Flash or Arrow.

Sharknado 5. These movies are bad enough on their own, why does Tara Reid have to be in them too?!
I love how Ian Ziering goes into these tornados but never gets hit by any debris.

So I'm watching this 70's movie called The Eiger Sanction (an action-suspense starring Clint Eastwood). Very promising flick that seems like it can stand the test of time. Anywho, watching Eastwood's character and his dialog, it leaves me wondering if this is who Tom Cruise borrowed Ethan Hunt from (as well as maybe some of his other characters).

Finished The Eiger Sanction after a few interuptions. Awesome movie. I would say that it's a great movie to be remade, but it really doesn't need to be touched.

Good story, fun nastalgic trip into the 70's, hot gals, great scenery, and snappier writing than we've seen from any of the action-spy-assasin movies of the past decade. I chuckled all the way through it. If I had a top 10 list of Man's Man movies, I'd try to reserve a spot for this.

Watched Wonder Woman. Heard it was as bad as most of the other DC movies. Waited and watched it with my youngest. Terrible acting, terrible story, terrible CGI. More of hero vs Ze Germans... /yawn. My youngest and I ended up panning it and laughing at how bad it was.

Only stuff I liked was Gal Gadot herself, WW's heritage and the real/final antagonist. Everything else about this movie was junk. So glad this was a $3 redbox rental. Woulda been pissed if I'd taken this in at the theater.

Shoulda re-watched The Ipcress File, or The Eiger Sanction... ;-)

Impressive how Netflix was able to grow organically the way they have, to where they’re now able to produce massive shows and $100 million blockbuster movies like Bright starring Will Smith without ad revenue or box office revenue.

Wonder why they decided to release Bright as an online streaming movie free of charge to Netflix customers rather than at the big screen where they could gross $200+ million. Unless Bright was meant to be their segue to that leap.

I find it Sadly ironic, given that they used to be a DVD conpany, that Netflix is apparently choosing not to sell their shows to the public on that format after their original run online is over. A risky move, imo.

    Watched Thor Ragnarok last night.

If you like Marvel movies you will LOVE this movie. It is almost boring how good those movies are. I can see why this is a lot of people's top 5 Marvel movie.

I remember hearing Jeff Goldbloom was cast and I thought that would be distracting. However, I was wrong. He was great in that role. perfect use.

Hulk was awesome. Valkarie was awesome. Hera was super fun. The movie was funny. The action was awesome. Not a perfect movie, however, one that is worth seeing in theaters and you might even want to see it twice.

Absolutely loved Ragnarok. As Dupree said, marvelous casting, acting and writing. Everyone fits their rolls so well, and they've really done a terrific evolution of Thor from the first movie to this point. Its much more in the tone that Guardians set than what Thor 2 was, and thats a great thing. Yet stays true to its own characters and world(s).

Much like Guardians did for director James Gunn, I'll now be on the lookout for any other films by Taika Waititi, because he did such a wonderful job.

Saw "Geostorm" in the theater. It entertains as long as you go in with tightly managed expectations. And then, I finally saw "Split." Holy crap, what a great movie! James McEvoy was amazing. ANd I'm very excited about all a sequel will bring.

Saw Thor IMAX down in Miami before my flight out on MOnday. 10x better than the first two THor movies. I'd definitely rank it top 3 or 4 Marvel movies. no wasting time on earthlings, just gods and beings kicking butt. The cameo by MD was pretty funny too. I was skeptical that they could bring good comedy into a Thor movie, not all of it was good comedy, but there was enough to make me laugh multiple times. Going back to see it Sunday and bringing the family.

after Thor, I had lunch and more time to kill so went back in to see the Kingsman sequel. mediocre. First movie was entertaining because of the fresh perspective on spy movies.

I thought that the first Kingsman was entertaining but mostly mediocre itself. Wasn't sure how they'd work out a second one. I'll probably catch it eventually on TV.

I just got home from Justice League. I enjoyed it. It is a flawed movie that was fun.

I HATE Man of Steel. I kind of liked but never want to see again Suicide Squad. Batman V Superman gave me a headache. I enjoyed Wonder Woman.

I thought the characters were fun. Just did not have enough time to get to know them. This is the first DCEU movie that I wish was longer.

    First time I liked Superman.

I did not watch the extended version of B v S. I heard it made the movie make sense. I just did not enjoy B v S to watch more of it. There are too many awesome things to watch.

I am going to wait on Punisher. I only get Netflix twice a year and just binge everything I want to watch. I enjoyed him in Daredevil, however, I am just a big fan of the character.

Yeah it did. I lucked out by watching that one first b/c it was pretty awesome I thought.

    Smart.
I can't imagine Bernthal not making a good Punisher. Hopefully Netflix does him as well as they did Daredevil. Who's one that they've yet to do that you're really looking forward to?

That would be the way to watch it. The theatrical cut was confusing. Very confusing.

I like Bernthal. Just overall I am not a huge fan of the Punisher. Too 90s extreme murder brooding for my liking. I like my heroes to be no kill, conflicted about killing, or delightfully fun about murder.

Sad murder is just kind of boring to me. Thought not to say the Punisher cannot be in good stories. He just does not excite me as a character enough to restart my Netflix subscription. I will probably start it again when Troll Hunters Season 2 releases.

the only Punisher comic book run I bought is the one where the Punisher died and was recruited by one of the Archangels to battle against Lucifer's hostile takeover of heaven.

I want to see that as a Netflix series.

I haven't seen Legion, but I've really enjoyed Bettany in just about everything that I've seen him in. He's excellent as Geoffrey Chaucer in A Knight's Tale. He was good in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, and The Da Vinci Code, and of course as Jarvis and Vision in the MCU.

I've wanted to see Inkheart for a long time and haven't gotten around to it. So many fun actors. Bettany, Brendan Frasier, Hellen Mirren, Andy Serkis.

agreed for the most part, especially the part that we could have used another 45 minutes to develop some of the characters. I guess some of that will happen will follow up movie. I've liked all the aforementioned DCEU movies, but definitely to different extents.
    - Man of Steel was good IMO, 10 billion times better than Superman returns.
    - Suicide Squad was good, but the witch villian was totally hokey
    - Batman vs Superman was okay, the final battle scene vs Doomsday made up for a lot of crap in the rest of the movie
    - Wonder woman was clearly the best

Overall, Justice League was still good on the big IMAX screen. Enough to where I'll take my remaining family to go see it next weekend. But I'm a homer. Superman and Justice League have always been tops for me growing up, even way before the cheesy superfriends.

I never actually seen Superman Returns. My friend told me it was boring and none of the reviews I saw convinced me to check it out. I just hated in Man of Steel how no one acted like a human being, the story did not make sense, and I did not like the main character. Plus it was so greyed out. I could go on and on how much I hate Man of Steel.

I grew up with Superfriends and I am a huge fan of the DC Animated Universe. Until Avatar: The Last Airbender, Batman the Animated Series was my favorite cartoon of all time.

I am more of a Marvel fan than a DC fan, however, I do like DC. Just really hate Man of Steel. Hate it so much.

Justice League was fun. I hope they release a 3 hour version as I want to watch it. Unlike BvS, the cut down version still makes sense, however, it does feel jumbled and too quick.

Actually, I liked Spacey's Lex Luthor in Superman Returns. He and Parker Posey were the best part of a bad movie. Also enjoyed the scene with Lex's henchman who had the girl and the kid on Lex's yacht. You'd know the scene if you saw the movie.

    Everything else was meh.

Watched Noomi Rapace's "Rupture" today. Liked her in the Dragon tattoo series. Also, like Peter Stormare. Another weird cat, who is enjoyable to watch. Loved him as Lucifer in Keanu's Constantine. The white suite and the giggle really sold the performance.

Its a fun movie. I watched it on TV this past weekend with my dad who hadn't seen it before. I've seen it three or four times, and it was a pleasant surprise. Really, anything in the MCU is gold these days. I haven't felt let down since Thor 2.
