I wonder how attached he and Brady are to each other. I know Brady thinks he can play till 45, and trading Jimmy seems to indicate that BB and the Pats are taking that at face value. I find it hard to believe that if BB was seriously contemplating that Brady would commit to going past his tenure, but who knows.
Actually, I think they are both attached to Ernie Adams more than anything. BB could leave, Brady could leave, and if Adams stayed they'd still do well. However, IMO, if Adams retired and both BB and Brady stayed I think we'd see a big drop off in their production.
