As I said in the opening post, I've never personally liked Kaepernick and I would have been mad if we signed him. He has done some stupid things during this "protest" and if he wanted to clarify anything, the reporters would line up for his press conference any time of the day. So please don't think this is me trying to make him out as simply misunderstood- I fully understand the baggage involved and I'm one of the people who has been against him.

At the same time though, grabbing a starting caliber QB for practically nothing seems like a pretty good bargain with the way Cutler has played. Winning cures all, and I have a feeling that the folks here who despise him would eventually come around if he apologized and then had some success. I just always try to be objective in stuff like this...even if it's not what I believe...because I'm so tired of all the hate in the world. Social media has literally made people go insane with insults and hatred at every little thing, so I try to see the middle ground and walk it if possible. I can see the viewpoints on both sides of the fence.

Crazy that folks talked about me in Club though. If you went to bat for me, then that means I was taking a beating there by others. Thanks! I think I've made peace with most of them though.....I have made an effort to anyway.

I listened to him and what he said O...he was talking about how he believed in some of the ways they do things... seemed innocent but I do not have the details that you do, just him talking about how he is being misrepresented on the subject... why wouldnt I believe him?.. if his stance was so hard it will still be hard I’m sure

Did you listen to Armando and /or Kiko?

It's how they and people like them feel about it not so much you and I.

Kap is an idiot. I have no real issue with any kneeling, but he has always shown himself to be ignorant.

I'm not disagreeing he would do well with this offense as currently constructed. I'd be all for him playing in Miami. IF.............

And don't worry about any of those guy's...most just disagreed passionately with the Moore love but overall are good solid posters.

It's hard to blame him because he went with the guy that he's had success with before. Would also be pretty difficult to revamp an offense four weeks out from the regular season to fit kaep's style, after losing your starting QB for the season. There's not a single head coach in this league that would do that.

I would have rather had Tebow since the two were together in Denver (if memory serves me right) and...oh yea, Denver went to the playoffs that year
