I know we are all holding out hope that things will get better, however, what if things can't get right-sized? The realities of a failed offseason are setting in, from not having surgery for RT, to not drafting a qb, to not addressing the line and not getting production from this year's draft, except for Tank and God. Another issue are the internal signings, like Jones, Stills, Branch and Kiko, aren't exactly panning out. Meanwhile, their heart and soul, Landry, is starving. The entire offensive line is bad, and with all of this, RT has a $18M option next year. Miami may have to be prudent and draft and start a rookie. Or do they go after Brees and Cousins? Things may get a lot worse before they get better. So I ask, are you prepared? I suggest lowering expectations. Miami is abysmal on offense and maybe what we should expect is better play this week vs a win. I have seen every reason why Miami is struggling, and the it is fundamental, they advertised running with Ajayi and predicating everything else on this. However, with an average OL, and the Jets creating the formula for stopping us, we may just not have the personnel, coaching or ability to overcome our run game not working. We all had thoughts of of WRs running crazy all over the field. It may not happen. Just prepare yourselves, and hope for the best
Why on earth would you think we'd be interested in Brees, or him in us? I don't think he's interested in coming in, as an old QB, and getting mauled. Plus I don't think Tannehill is going anywhere.
Are you seriously asking me if I'm prepared for this team to let me down, suck AGAIN after high expectations? Show flashes of brilliance but squander talent and let them go to thrive elsewhere??? Continue to play down to below the level of their competition but occasionally exceed everyones expectations and dazzle us with momentary brilliance like a super-nova? To once again remind me that I'm old and living on the memory of yester year in a pathetic attempt to justify wearing Aqua? SERIOUSLY??? How old are you anyway? I EXPECT NOTHING ELSE!!! THAT is Miami Dolphan life!
By the way. I can see how it gets lost in the translation, especially since I can be quite the (pucka-head, Canadian translation, everything is a hockey puck with you people!) from the Hawaiian Puka. Pronounced (pooka) for hole. Local fisherman call Dolphins Puka-Heads cuz they have a hole in their head. Which again is an accurate nickname for myself. At least according to my Canadian wife.
