My favorite sports bars that I like to go to are? Rookies in St. Charles: Really good food and Tv screens all over. http://www.rookiespub.com/stcharles.html Hooters in Aurora: Very good wings, attractive waitresses, and numerous TVs as well. http://www.originalhooters.com/locations/chicago/aurora/
I'll actually be going to a sports bar, or bars, to watch a few games this season for the first time since 2003. I've had Sunday Ticket for a long time, but won't this year because I'll be moving and won't have my own house for a while. Thankfully, between Week 1 being a free preview anyways, and our Week 4, 8, 9, 10 & 14 games on national TV, I won't have to go every week. Still, I'm going to have to figure out the best way to handle myself and not be rude to the business. When I was younger, I would walk to a place close by, so I could drink and not have to worry about it. But now, I'll have to drive 30 minutes or more each way, so more than one beer is probably out. Plus, I was diagnosed as diabetic 10 years ago, so I can't just sit there and order more food the whole time either. I'll have to just order unsweet tea for the first hour or so, then get food and eat slowly, lol.
They only care about their income, so as long as you tip your bartender really well, they won't care. At least 10 bucks.
LOL, well I never, ever actually go to a bar. The places I go would all be restaurants, and I'd sit at a table or a booth. I do tip my servers nicely, though.
I'm sorry to hear that your a diabetic. I know that you have to be careful. That's a bummer about being 30 minutes or more from any places that have football games.
I love to drink and watch sports but I'm sorry, I can't really do them together. My level of engagement in the games is usually fairly high and if I have a beer/drink it's usually to help me mellow out cause otherwise I will yell at a TV set lol.
