Why not create a DL and LB Czar position for JT and Zach?

    What were the offensive and QB stats that year?...I think your underestimating what he could do with what he had..

    It's not an underestimation, it's what actually happened. Our offense was objectively terrible before the wildcat. We were predictable. It was predictable in the opposite way of what happened with Thill before Gase. With Penny, all we had was the run and short passes. Opposing defenses could sell out and stack the box because they knew Penny wasn't going deep. We needed a way to see them honest.

    Chad's greatest attribute was he rarely turned the ball over. That's how he was every year, a caretaker and game manager to the tee.

    If I remember right every year he was healthy besides 1 he made the playoffs. However once you get to those playoffs, at some point you are going to have to make play's to beat the best of the best.

    I liked him somewhat, but he was never going to win us a SB without a LOT of talent around him.

    I agree there...his passer rating was outstanding that year..he needed a run game and he got it

    Our run game was fine before the wildcat. It was the passing game (outside of the really short stuff) that was terrible.
