Gawd I'm tired...and I still have about 2 hrs left to go....driving a limo was not a good idea tonight,,,,still getting over being sick...but needed the money. I have to save for my vacation. Actually broke down and went against one of my biggest no no's and drank a soda...

 

Soda = the devil. I never touch the stuff anymore.

Also, anyone else want to start saving now to go to the 2012 Olympics in London? I've got a fever, and the only remedy is more Olympics!

So its 3:30 am....I worked 10 hrs at my PART TIME job......plus 8 hrs at my FULL TIME job..seems bass ackwards to me.....plus I only made 100 dollars including my tips....that blows. I took this one woman home who lives all the way on the outer parts of town and she tipped me less than 5%.....a waiter gets more than I do.....


I'm not in a good mood right now...I'm going to bed.

I just ran 3.25 miles. That may sound impressive, but considering my race is in six weeks and I have to run 13.1...perhaps I need to start training more?

Was this on a treadmill? I remember when I was training on one, it didnt preapre me for the real thing.

 

I have a treadmill, what a great place to hang shirts I need to get my butt on it more often.

No, treadmills are teh suck. This was outside pounding the pavement. I started distance running a few years back and foolishly thought the treadmill would prepare me. I found it boring, and left me underprepared for the real deal. Now that I run marathons and half marathons, I do all my training outside. I tend to run faster that way too.

Of course, I am hacking up a lung the rest of the day, but what are you gonna do?

The worst part is that I am dry until October. No alcohol, no coffee, no soda (which I don't drink anyways) and no ice cream (starting today...I had a relapse yesterday and it was worth it).

 

Try cutting back on the Marlboros that might help

 

I dont..think...he...smokes....he is a losering though...so maybe he does.

 

I wish I had the motivation to start running again. When I was in college we had to run anywhere from 2 to 5 miles a day (depending on how much of a dick our pitching coach felt like).

Its funny, after you run that much and get into such great shape soda doesn't even taste good anymore. Its like your body knows its bad for you. Kinda like putting regular unleaded into a Ferrari.

You are correct sir, I do not smoke. I do have asthma, but haven't had an attack since I was like eight or so. Chalk it up to letting myself get out of running shape.

And I am losering...that is a great song...
