She said it sound like the person on the other side of the phone sound like they are whispering. So I was woundering do any of you guys help. So here is a recap. My nephew had my Moms phone. ( he is a one year old so we cant ask him what he pressed) Now when any one on my calls my Mom on her phone it sounds like the person on the other side is whispering Things we have already tried. We already tried to turn the volume up or at least the ringer volume. We cant find the other volume that lets you hear the other person. Can you help me? Thanks, Steve
don't let little ones play with important things... phone, keys... My wife learned the hard way, still can't find her keys.. we are pretty sure our 2 year old threw them in the trashcan because we have looked everywhere...been 3 months, but don't worry we have spares, although I do have to order the remote entry keys for the Toyota and Honda.... expensive.. but again, we do have the valet sets...anyway... point is, the cell phone could have been damaged by anything, little guy could have spilt his bottle on it, or tried to chew it if he's teething.
He might have chewed on it he is teething but he did not have a bottol in hand. But I think it could handle a little drool because we were right there next to him if he tried putting it in his mouth. So it is not like he had that many time to chew on it.
The kid damaged it in some way. There's absolutely zero chance that he managed to accidentally hit just the right setting to screw with the volume. (Besides, I can't think of a phone that would have a hidden volume setting.) Take it to where you bought it and get a replacement. And next time, don't let stuff like this happen.
I'm debating whether the 1 year old was the one drooling on the phone or whether it was Ronnie. Thoughts?
Go to Menu > Settings&tools > check master volume If that doesnt work go back to settings and tools > check earpiece volume. If that doesnt work go to settings and tools > Phone settings > system select > automatic If that doesnt work go to settings and tools > NAM selection > select NAM 1
the chick at the hotel was your mom? why were you afraid to meet your grandparents? THIS THREAD IS DISGUSTING!!
The 8300 was the official MOM phone. All the moms who didnt want PDA style device I used to sell that too all the time...including my mom.
Whoa whoa whoa Mr. RonnieBrokenPhone, you don't get to choose when a thread gets hijacked and when it doesn't. What about all those threads when we wanted to know stuff and you hijacked them without a care in the world? Sucks to be you
Well RBT I found a website with the phone's instruction manual and on pg 18 it talks about the phone's quick volume settings which may help and on pg 34 it talks about your sounds or whatever. So give this manual a look over that is what I would do and have done in similar situations: Here is the link to the manual (just download the pdf): http://www.phonedog.com/cell-phone-research/lg-vx-8300_user-manual.aspx
I wonder if Verizon will give me some OT for this....Me thinks they can afford it! Oh by the way...heres the user manual for your moms phone RBT: http://cache.vzw.com/multimedia/mim/lg_vx8300/
Damn man, youre harsh. He has to be able to use his moms upgrade so he can get the same phone everyone else is getting before school starts!
Touche and the more help the better. Also RBT I found this link that shows you how to reset the phone to factory settings (fresh out of the box) so this is worth a shot but remember any pics, videos, etc. will be lost but it may very well fix your problem as it should reset what your nephew did wrong. That is unless the phone is screwed. Link: http://www.fixya.com/support/t268201-factory_settings
No, he'll have to make due with last years model, the one that sounds like everyone is whispering. "What's that? I can't hear you." "Can you hear me now?" "No, My nephew had my Moms phone. ( he is a one year old so we cant ask him what he pressed) Now when any one on my calls my Mom on her phone it sounds like the person on the other side is whispering" Sucks to be him
I need help, the bear thread is broken and I can't spell bayare I need help.....my tape walkmans "play button" is sticking......im not able to hear my "hootie and the blowfish" music!!!!
I always found that getting some warm water and dabbing it on the afflicted button helped. On a side note this is getting ridiculous.
