Mine has evolved over the years-when I first got connected to the Internets, I signed up on a Jimmy Buffett message board. But, being the type of person I am, I couldn't just pick a Buffett-inspired name. Oh no-*I* had to be different, and special. So I drew on The Grateful Dead for a name, and became Cosmic Charlie. Then, after becoming an uncle multiple times, I changed it to Uncle Cosmic. Now, in the interest of brevity (too late) I am just Cosmic. Pretty boring-but it has lasted 10 years with very little change. I have friends that don't even call me by my real name (Mike). I'm just "Cosmic" or "Cos".

Anyway my username is simple, my first name is Michael (or Mike or Mikey or "thats the wrong hole") and I through in the number 13, because Marino is awesome. I used to go by the name Patssuck456, because I hate the Pats and 456 because a previous email adress had "123" in it. I still go by that User name in some other websites.

The Devil in my name stands for Blue Devils, as in the Duke Blue Devils basketball team. I've been a fan since jr high. I'm not as hardcore as I am a Fins fan but I'm pretty hardcore. The Fin part is obviously for the Dolphins. The 13 is for Marino and its just always been my favorite/lucky number.
I got this name because I used to post yearssss ago on the Dolphins AOL forums under this name... Then I remember some dude named JazzyJoeyD mentioning the FH site and I naturally went over there and cancelled the AOL subscription. It honestly doesn't really 'mean' anything too special I guess... I am not really that old so its not like I choose Gandalf because he's an old guy...although I am not 'young' anymore by NFL standards either as I am as old as: quick quiz! Weinke was when he entered the NFL...at least for the next few months before the clock turns ...again... I like the LOTR but am not obsessed with it...just thought back in the AOL days that he's a cool Wizard...and my friends labeled me the 'Wizard' when I played ball as a WR due to my exceptional catching skills ...just like the Wizard in 'Gauntlet' I was too slow to pursue a career...4.85 in 40 = not good even for a possesion WR ....plus it didnt help I played like a maniac and got a few concussions....and that was BEFORE College which, although I got recruited by Boston College, I didn't go and the rest is my personal business So there you have it for me
my first name on fh was chris84chambers, i didn't post much though..then i changed my name to culpepper2chambers and joined the 3 am crew so some of you probably know by that name..then when culpepper2chambers name sucked i changed it to King Felix, after the pitcher Felix Hernandez for the Mariners..he's got nasty stuff and is easily one of my favorite athletes of all sports

this is a good thread, because I always wonder what people think of my username. Just the thought of people thinking I'm one of those douches that has hustler in his name, irks me...but here's the back story. I have red hair. My high school mascot were the "Hustler Bees" (thus hustler), and my favorite number (I wore it when I played, Don Mattingly wore it) is 23. I've had that name for my e-mail and every username since I was 16. I keep it bc I can remember it. I didn't realize that ramifications later in life, making me look like some d-bag. Hahahaha.
