I wonder what current Bears players are thinking right now. I think its safe to say that their offense is horrendous but should have he made that statement? I don't find it a big deal but it is interesting. I wonder what Bernard Berrian would say if he was asked about it.

It's true. I can't think of a time when Chicago ever featured a prolific passing offense or stud WR play.

I cant really disagree with his statement. Not the slightest bit. With horrendous QB's they have there now, and the brutal winds that can be there in the winter... Not a good combo for a bigtime passing game...

They were just talking about that a little bit ago on the game. They said Moose had 16 total Td's at Chicago through his whole tenure, compared to his last season at Carolina where he had like 16 total for the yr.

Yeah, I'm watching it as well. He had 13 in three years in Chicago while he had 16 in his last season with the Panthers.

Btw, McNabb looks good out there but his receivers look bad. Also, Richard Marshall is pretty fast lol. He's a good corner and wouldn't be surprised to see him take the starting job away from Lucas.

"Receivers? We don't need no stinkin' receivers! Look at what Owens did to us! And he stole my donut holes on the way out, too. I ain't giving McNabb squat at WR. He can manage."
