His play has improved in recent weeks, but this was as timely a big play as you will ever see on either side of the ball. We still need to add pieces around him so to speak, but I think Hewitt stays as does Hull and Butler. The unit could use some quality youth to come in, but at least we have something.
I professed my love for him last week as my new favorite player. He's such a beast flying around out there, and now he's on a roll. You can't ever say he doesn't give 100% effort. And though most of you don't care about this part, since I'm a gay flamer, he is the nicest player to look at. Legend of Kiko. Keep it going!
This should combine with the "Linebackers Suck Thread", since there's nothing else to really say. Suck it San Diego!
been singing his praises all year. really loved that trade.. we can ditch maxwell. kiko makes it worth it

Anyone else notice that since we started playing in something other than all white uniforms we have played a little differently? Or is it just me?
Maxwell has been the only constant at corner besides McCain. He hasn't been great but still a solid starter and adds value to that great trade!
he really needs to work on his arm battles with receiveers. he gets called for holding a bit too much on those hand battles
I was thinking during game I was going to comment on how well he has been playing, and then he gets that pick 6. I am enjoying watching him play more and more
Kiko sort of reminds me a little of Polumalu in that he'll infuriate you on some bad guesses during plays and then makes a game changer. I do wish that sometimes he would stop guessing (esp on gaps) and just stay smart in his assignments. Admittedly, I was down on him earlier in the year, but the more he has played in this system, the more value I see out of him. I think a little of that can be said of Maxwell. He is starting to pick things up a bit, too.
He's been just as on fire as Tannehill has lately. Bigtime plays lately from both of them on each side of the ball lately. Gotta love it.
He had a bad game besides a handful of plays. He got the last laugh, but Kaepernick handled him pretty easily more than a few times.
That trade was brilliant. We gave up what 3,4 spots in the draft and netted 3 starters. 2 of whom have been really, really good or better and 1 is a solid starter. I'll do that kind of trade any day of the week!
